    Great Read!

This book is suspenseful and unique in its storyline. I like the fact that it's not to long and keeps you drawn in to find out what happens. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good ghost story.

OMG! The stupid person who wrote a review on this book totally gives away the ending of the book! What a freaking idiot! Keep your damn opinions and the endings to the books to yourself and let the rest of us decide for ourselves if it's worth reading....I abhor people who give away the ending and will not give their name so they can be reported! I'd love to tell you where to stick your opinion!

    Greta book Great book

Loved the book but it went a little to fast, the author should have made it longer and went into more detail. Ending was sad but good at the same time. Titanic kinda thing. Great book i would reccomend it

    Ugh

This is a waste of time, while I can overlook spelling and grammar errors it was the horrible timeline that drove me crazy - imagine this it is present day and a 93 year old woman is dying she flashes back to when she was 19 (that is over 70 years) and actually says she wants to be a famous singer just like Taylor Swift - wow I didn't know she was an immortal (LOL). Ok this was just stupid and a 12 year old could write something better.

    Not the best

I had to read this a second time in order to actually get it. To me a lot of info was left out and the story moved a little to fast. But other then that I enjoyed reading it.

    Pass it over

Writing is mediocre. Author repeats many times and characters have no depth.

    Not that Great.

I finished this book because I started it. I usually like the paranormal books, vamps, weres, ghots, witches, fairies, etc. But I didn't understand this book at all. The girl is sold into slavery, dies on a boat, comes back as a spirit, ends up a human with kids. I don't know the whole thing just confused me. The writing wasn't horrible its just that the story wasn't clear at all. Almost like a few chapters was left out. Maybe?

    Its ok.

The writing feels very...how should I word this...Green. Mr. Chan is a very good story teller but the writing seemed unpolished. Honestly it felt like I was reading the first draft of a manuscript, it felt awkward, craggy and didn't flow well. Although the story is good the writing needs work.

    Stupid

So very very stupid. I was hopeful. Sounded unique. Very disappointed. Read half the story and could keep going. I think a13 yr old must have written this.

    Eh

It had a good base story, but the author should have done a bit of research or at least labeled the begining section 75 years in the future so that they flash back to present day. Having the story mention Taylor Swift, the TV show Supernatural (love those Winchesters), and even Celine Dion when it was suppose to be 75 years ago kinda annoyed me. Also, the author repeats himself a lot. Could use a better editor for errors as well. Was good, but could have been better.

    Kind boring, not that strong.

The initial story was interesting, but the plot could have been a lot stronger. The instant love attraction was sweet, but maybe it should have more like, " hey, we're just friends," instead of, " You're the most beautiful thing ever! I need you!" The story is very PG so there's no sex. The descriptions needed more work, they were kind of plain and straight-forward. Not a tad bit boring, but it wasn't terrible.

Sorry to say but the dialogue was poorly written and author kept repeating the same descriptions.
