    another wonderful story from Shelly...

Accordance takes off where Significance left off, with Caleb and Maggie arriving in California for her protection against the Watson's. Just when they thought they have some time to themselves to learn about each other, Kyle and Bish show up to chaperone. Time alone is few are far between now. Bish is there to find out what his sister is hiding, and why everyone is ok with Maggie running off to another state with a guy she just met. And Kyle just won't leave well enough alone.

Maggie is coming to terms that she is not only an Ace, but that she is also a seer. She can read the minds of those around her, see into their minds, feelings, plans, even see visions. Sure it comes in handy when needing a few seconds to talk to Caleb without Bish learning of what they are, not so handy when all of Kyle's feelings are of his love for her.

One day Maggie gets a vision that will affect Aces everywhere. She learns the past mistakes of the clans, the greed and pride they held above all. She also learns the prophecy that she and Caleb are the ones to put an end to it all and bring back what the Virtuoso's once were, caring and giving people. But soon, with everything piling up on her shoulders, all the emotions and responsibilities just becomes to much. Will Maggie be able to live up to what her new family is expecting or will she let them all down?

Accordance is so wonderfully written with a story line that is unlike any other. It¿s easy to lose yourself in the world that Crane creates. I felt the happiness, the unease and the suspense right along with the characters. And lets not forget the romance, ohhh the romance. Shelly brings back all those memories of first love: the stolen kisses, the dreams you have, the playful touches. My favorite thing about a book is the love story and this author knows how to deliver, in all her works. Accordance is a must read by a brilliant author. You will not be disappointed.

    grammar

The only reason this is a 4/5 is because there are some glaringly obvious and constant grammar issues where words are missing or mispelt. A few is okay, but there are quite a few where it took me out of the story and made too aware of the mistakes.

I am in awe of this book. I am a mother of 2 and I dont't care how old you are, this is a book worth reading. I could not put it down. She writes in a way that you feel every emotion that Maggie and Caleb feel. It will make you believe in true love, which I do. Love, love, loved this book!!

A fulfilling sequel to the first novel, Accordance brings us even closer to our couple as they struggle to find their place in life, while still maintaining their semblance of self. If you enjoyed the first book, this one is a necessity!

Accordance is the second installment to the Significance series.

Accordance is the second installment to the Significance series. This series offers a unique twist of a fated lovers and superheroes powers. Maggie and Caleb take center stage, but it appears the family is beginning to grow. For generations it had appeared that a terrible tragedy was occurring, and the families were no longer imprinting. With such complications the families discourages dating and romance with anyone else other than ones imprinted, because if they were to one day find their significant things will instantly become messy. So, at the time it appeared with the lack of imprinting generations we destined to be along. That was until Maggie saved Caleb from an unfortunate accident. Now, they are not only imprinted; but Maggie is also a human and this has never been heard of before. At the end of the Significance we followed Maggie and Caleb to California. In attempts to hide from those determined to harm Maggie; they flee only to find they are under the supervision of one overbearing brother and one meddlesome cousin. This allowed a moment for some major character and romance depth to be adding into the story. This was a much need transition to go from the unknown fresh romance to a deep and a devoted partnership between Caleb and Maggie. Unfortunately, with a novel such as this the abruptness of the imprinting between characters can leave readers feel pressured romance, and a constant feeling of catching up as the author builds relationships after the fact. I thoroughly enjoy this series, and love the unique and imaginative journey within each book. I have noticed a few disruptions in the flow, but I think this is primarily the learning curve for this author. It appears that she is still having a few moments of romance that will sound entirely to cliché. With a novel surrounding romance this will give readers moments of pause within the story, but is easily overlooked. Overall, with two books of the Significance series under her belt I see improvement, and I am anxious to see where the future will take us.

Just when you think it can't get any better, Shelly Crane does

Just when you think it can't get any better, Shelly Crane does it again, and you fall in love with the story (and Caleb) all over again. Accordance picks up right where Significance left off. Caleb and Maggie are in California for Maggie's protection after she was abducted by a rival Ace clan, the Watson's. Caleb and Maggie have also recently imprinted and are soul mates, and are really looking forward to some "alone time." Just when they think they have some time to themselves, Maggie's brother Bish and Caleb's cousin Kyle show up to be their chaperones. Bish, who still isn't aware of what is really going on and is extremely suspicious, is a total pain, making things miserable for Maggie, and Kyle, well, Kyle is just being Kyle. Maggie is coming to terms with the fact that she is now not only an Ace, but also a Seer and Visionary. She and Caleb begin to try to understand the destiny that awaits them both as Aces and soul mates, and the romance - swoon, swoon, and swoon some more. Caleb is absolutely yummy. He is completely, totally, and unconditionally in love with Maggie and would do absolutely anything for her, and to protect her. Did I mention that he is also oh so very hot. Of course, Maggie feels the same way about him.

Accordance is one of those books that you just want to crawl up in and live there for a while. It is wonderfully written with a paranormal story line that is unlike any other. The romance and the love story is absolutely dreamy, and Shelly Crane definitely knows how to deliver in that area. Accordance is a book you will definitely want to read, and be prepared because you won't want to put it down. It is wonderfully written by a truly gifted author.

    more from this reviewer

Continues to make me fall in love

Accordance was just as captivating as the first. I love how Shelly continues Caleb and Maggie's story and makes you fall in love with them all over again.

*slight spoilers for the first book*

We pick up right where Significance left off with Caleb, Maggie and unfortunately Kyle and Bish in California. The happy couple just wanted some time to get away from all the danger and just breathe for a while, but they've got another thing coming. Kyle still loves Maggie. Bish still doesn't like Caleb. And now, Maggie has discovered something new about herself, something that may change the Aces for good. And just when all that is going on, more danger starts to find Maggie. But, she still has her loving significant, Caleb, and they'll fight like hell for their happiness.

I really adore this series. It literally makes me sigh with happiness all the time while reading. I love how strong of a protagonist Maggie is and I love how Caleb, the sexiest hunky ever who plays guitar and can cook and can surf and is just adorable (shutting up now), is always there by her side through every step. It's magical watching the romance grow between them. It's also so easy to love every character in this story. Both families and friends. That brings me to Kyle. I like his character a lot and even though I'm happy for how things ended in Accordance for him, I was also kind of disappointed. Anyone else feel that way? Or am I the only psycho? Ha!

Even the villains... you don't sit there hating them, you sit there enjoying the havoc they cause. Speaking of, the ending of this story was pleasantly a surprise. I wasn't really sure what the climax and the dramatic ending would be for this book but, it wasn't what I thought. I sat there saying to myself "huh, didn't see that one but it definitely makes sense and I definitely would like to slap that person". Shelly did a fantastic job of changing up villains and I can tell we're in for a different and roller coaster of a ride in Defiance.

There's always this advice being thrown out by authors saying "write the book you'd want to read". And I very much agree with that statement. That being said, I think Shelly Crane does just that for her readers. These books have everything I can ask for. Spell-binding love, music, drama, a dog, fights, family, magic, friends you adore, tattoos, and everything in between. I am so happy that Defiance comes out in the next month!

    AMAZING!!!

While I am completely in love with this series already Accordance was definitely equal to Significance pace wise. Again the story was captivating, different, and just plain good. There is a lot more action in Accordance and of course a whole lot of love but its not overly done. I can't wait for Defiance this Spring!

    Beautiful & Intense

This has got to be the greatest love story I have ever read! Caleb & Maggie are so wonderful & perfect for each other. The imprint gives them such a powerful connection that they know is forever and keeps them from doing a lot of the normal stupid-teenage-romance stuff. Caleb doesn't try to make Maggie jealous or leave her "for her own good" and Maggie doesn't decide to date some other guy on the side or try to push Caleb away. They accept that they are meant to be together and explore their connection together while fighting all the external threats side by side. I absolutely love reading about them, it makes my heart feel full & happy. They have so many evils and obstacles to face, but their incredible love for each other gives me a hopeful feeling no matter what they face. I will be counting the days until Defiance comes out!
