Overview

If you thought having a threesome could wreak havoc on a relationship, Monica from My Woman His Wife is back to show you why even the mere thought of a menage a trois with your spouse and an outsider should never enter your imagination.
It's been three months since the Cinque household has been turned upside down by a sexual tryst gone terribly wrong. Although Jasmine and James are making moves to put their broken home and broken hearts back together, past lies and a lack of trust make it almost impossible to salvage what once was sacred. It's even harder with a conniving woman like Monica throwing salt in the wounds from the sidelines because she still hasn't gotten what she wants.

Old family secrets are revealed and half truths are exposed as marriage vows are put to the test, painful memories are relived, and revenge is at the top of everyone's list. Drama, betrayal, and lust are all found on the pages of Aftermath — when once just isn't enough.

I finished the book last night, after reading the first installment and I must say that the build up was great but the bang was missed. Not sure if I will buy a third

I liked this follow up book. However i would like for a third istallment to come out to see what Monica and her sister are doing now. This was just as good as the first book (My Woman, His Wife).

I read book one of the this author and was so drawn to see what would happen in this book, that I had to buy it. This book was definately a page turner and kept me on my toes. I was really shocked at what happened in this book compared to the first book. Every charpter was breath taking and have you wanting more....FOR SURE. This author and both books would be a strong recommendation to other readers. I hope to hear more from her and as well as read more of her books.

BOY OH BOY WHAT DO I SAY ABOUT MONICA. THIS CHICK IT TOO MUCH. THINGS THAT WAS SAID IN THE PREVIOUS REVIEWS WERE TRUE IN REGARDS TO SOME NOT NEEDED DETAILS ABOUT MONICA'S LIFE BUT I GUESS THAT BRINGS YOU UP TO DATE AS TO WHY THIS GIRL IS SO CRAZY. THE BOOK WAS GOOD. I ENJOYED IT. I WOULD DEFINETLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU READ IT. THE ONLY THING I DIDN"T LIKE WAS THAT SHE DIDN'T GET WHAT WAS DUE TO HER FOR ALL THE TRIFLING THINGS SHE DID TI BOTH JAMES AND JAZZ. JAZZ IS ALSO A PIECE OF WORK ALSO.

This book is a gripping tale of a yioung womans journey through life. It also explains how she survived the tragedy that she surcome to get where she is.She talks about her thoughts and how she uttrly wishes to urder someone but is too beautiful to go to jail. I agree

As usual the sequel isn't as good as the first story. I can see the return of Monica just as soon as everyone gets comfortable. She still has at least five people that she thinks (in her sick mind) that she has to pay back. We also didn't get all of the story on her uncle. We also need to know what became of the info from the tapes. There will have to be a third book to complete the saga.

I just finished The Aftermath, the fast-paced sequel to Anna J¿s stunning debut novel. Anna J. has superior skills. I have mad love for this author. Though James and Jasmine Cinque have starring roles in the sequel, this story is mostly about Monica. Monica is every man and woman¿s worse nightmare, but she is a particular thorn in the side James and Jasmine, a married couple who made the fatal mistake of indulging in a ménage-a-trois with Monica. Self-absorbed and vain, Monica¿s every thought is focused on getting what she wants. The long list of people she¿s had sexual dalliances with include individuals from every walk of life, and all her former lovers are helpless to tell her no when she calls in a favor. Her chummy relationships with people in high places, i.e. a judge, a high profile mayor, provide Monica with the wherewithal to destroy lives as easily as she changes bed partners. Seems Monica has that snappin¿ stuff that everybody¿both men and women¿just can¿t get enough of. The author provides the reader with the lurid details of molestation Monica endured during her childhood. This glimpse into her past sheds some light on why and when her thirst for revenge began. Though my heartstrings were tugged like crazy for Monica as an adolescent (it didn¿t pay to be on her s**t list¿that girl was hell-on-wheels, wielding a container of Krazy Glue), I had absolutely no sympathy for the devious, manipulative grown-up, Monica. . The Aftermath is an excellent book with shocking, edge-of-your seat revelations in every chapter. Oh, yeah, did I mention there¿s lots of hot . . . very hot . . . and graphic sex? Kudos to Anna J. Her next book, Get Money Chicks is definitely on my TBR list.

I didnt like this one all that much..It had way to many people envolved that had no reason to be. The drama between monica, Jazz and James was enough for a good book. It left you hangin when you wanted to know more. and gave you usless history that could be done without. The first book was SOOOO much better. If anna comes out with part three it woul be best to focus on the main people and forget the sideline beef. all in all it wasn't a favorite.

This book was something i really see happening to somebody. It also makes you wonder could this happen to you. This book was always in my possesion, i finished it within a week. This is a good book for high school students like me!

I like the fact that Jasmine made James see just how it felt to wonder. I was surprised Jasmine took it as far as she did. This was a fast read, and I look forward to other books by this author.

I agree the sequel was not what i expected but it was good. I do agree that monica was not ready to be no mother. She was a wild girl no doubt, but she had been through hell and hot water in her life. Steppin off was her best bet! james is a man and is going to be lustin as all men do until he gets old and really settles down with jazz. Jazz just had some lustful, experimental type things going on with her. She got that off to certain extent fantacy wise. But paid for with james (who she always have to deal with his bs)monica was a maniac (who fell in love with crazy)and then twins that bust her open. James and jazz are stable enough to raise the baby and at least monica do pay that child support we all know about most men who just step off and nothin good sequel! anna j you go girl.

I read Anna J's 1st book My Woman His Wife, loved it! Sadly her sequel was a tremendous let down. The book will most likely do well because like me many readers will want to know what happened with Jazz, Monica & James. Sadly it seems none of the characters learned their lesson after all they went through in the first book. James is still screwing everything he can even though he claims to want his family back with his whole heart. I can't tell! As hurt as Jazz was by James having a threesome in their home why in Earth would she do exactly the same thing. Two wrongs never make a right. Monica's no good but is still at it, she has gotten away with entirely too much and needs a first class beat down! The only positive thing I felt she did was realize she wasn't ready to be a mother. Although with as stupid as Jazz and James are being I'm not so sure the baby is any better off with them. I was hoping to see more emotional and moral growth with the main characters but the same selfish self destructive behavior was exhited. I still think Anna J has so much potential and I will continue to support her efforts but I sincerely hope her next release is better than this one. Much love Anna sorry I didn't have more positive comments about your sophmore book.
