Elves, Sidhe, Immortals - however you name them, Judith Tarr spins an excellent tale with them at the center. Historical allusions from the times of the Crusades, the lives of Muslims and Christians intertwine. Throw in a dash of magic, an incredibly beautiful afrit assassin, and an unearthly prince of the sidhe, and an tumultuous yet entirely engaging story of love, war and intolerance emerges. Was this review helpful?
