    The 'Touched by an Angel' of novels!

    I read this early in junior high, when I started reading her books. It was very eye-opening to learn about the Amish culture and how they live, and how one girl will change one family forever. Trials, romance and harsh reality really brings this triolgy the heartwarming and compelling sense of the show 'Touched by an Angel'. Purely unforgettable and sharing with friends.

    I LOVED IT!

    I am reading the second book right now and I love the story. It has just the perfect mix of everything. I cannot wait to get the others books. I think it is something that everyone should read. It was just so so so great! And its real; something people can believe. I really love the relationships expressed in the book and the different lifestyles. So go on! Get the book!

    trust me you MUST read this book!!!!!

    This was the best book I have ever read. It is about a girl who falls in love with an Amish guy in the hospital where she is diagnosed with bone cancer. Both of the characters are believabe, and the romance between the two is amazing. I read the entire trilagy in a day because I just couldn't put it down. Leah and Ethan are a couple who belong in the same catagory as 'Romeo and Juliet' and 'Elizabeth Bennet and Mr.Darcy'

    One of my favorite books!

    I read this trilogy when i was in high school and i loved it! It made me cry, but i loved it. Ive been hooked to her books ever since i first read "a rose for melinda". My favorite author by far..

    highly recomend any of Lurlene McDaniels books, always a great read

    Lurlene McDaniel is the only writer my daughter continues to read since the 8th grade, she is now 19 yrs. old, I purchased these books for her. She was so excited when she received them.McDaniel has a special gift of writing in order to keep my daughter to continue reading her books all these years, no other writer can do that.

    I have read the first one,I am halfway thru the second one,and can't wait to read the third one.I have fallen in love with the story!Lurlene McDaniel describes the setting and characters so well in the story that I feel like I'm there!I can say my self it is one of the most inspiring storys I have read.If you are bored and looking for something to do,I can say that this book is something to do.Love it!

    THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING!

    I picked up this book one day because I was bored out of my mind and I thought reading would be a good way to watse time. Lurlene McDaniel seriously made me cry, laugh, and fall in love with this story. This book was amazing and I recomend it for anybody! Wether your the type that likes romance novels or a person that just wants to read for fun. This book was seriously touching and everyone should definetly read it!

    The Angels Triligy: The story of a girl with cancer

    While reading this book, I almost cried, alot. This is a story about a girl named Leah who goes to the hospital, and finds out she has cancer. That is the first book. The second tells of her time with an Amish family she meets at the hospital. Her time with them ends tragicaly though. In the third she struggles to exept her stepfathers illness while helping Ethan, her boyfriend, find his brother. While this triligy was touching, it was highly unrealistic. No one has the bad luck to lose two people they love in the time frame of a year, get cancer, and have their boyfriend leave them. I did enjoy parts of the story, but for a book set in the modern world, it was to unrealisticaly depreasing.

    this was probably the sadest book i've ever read. i cried so many different times. even though the ending was so sad, i still really loved the book. if you like happy endings, just read the first book and not the rest.

    The angels reveiw

    This story is very sad, but is interesting. Leah must face wit her ill condition, and her family fslling apart, she also falls in love with someone she will never be able to marry and love wit his family's permission, and his culture.

    I rate this book 'Angels Watching Over Me' a five, because its really good. I recemmed this book for who ever likes to read about life-threathing stories. Lastly, It gets into major detail, and tells about how the amish and us get along together, so that's why i think this book is outstanding.

    Inspiring

    I love these books so much! They have helped me deal with grief and help pull me out of ruts of depression. I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good cry and inspiration.

    I Would Definitely Recommend It

    It gave me a vivid glimpes into a whole different lifestyle I had never even given much thought to. Although the amish are thought to live very simple lifestyles, their hearts are just as complex. Although some parts are sad and you may feel they should have gone a different way, after a while you will begin to appreciate the overall meaning: life goes on.

    Heart Warming !!!

    Once you open this book you're mind and imaginations will open a door to a different place, where being different doesn't matter. You'll experience: love,sadness, and become very anxious. In the end this book leaves you with a different perspective about life and who you are
