    Recommended.

My colleague and I are using this Barron's test preparation book for our eighth-graders, most of whom will attend private Catholic high schools. The book has many fine features--an introductory section which addresses the different types of questions the students will find on the entrance exam, a section on word roots which helps the students to define words outside their own vocabulary, sample tests, and helpful hints on test-taking skills.
