A new job, a new life for Renee, the perfect opportunity or is it? Renee Wilson is ready to start a new life. Her goal is to find a great job with a decent, secure place to live. She wants to raise her unborn child away from her lying, cheating ex-boyfriend who neglected to inform her that he was a married man. The perfect opportunity comes knocking at Renee's door in the form of an administrative assistant at the Blackstone stud farm in Virginia. Upon arrival, Renee is shocked to find herself instantly attracted to the handsome owner, Sheldon Blackstone. Renee is determined to fight her desires. She knows the last thing she needs to do is mix business with pleasure. Sheldon Blackstone never believed that he could fall hard for another woman after his wife died many years ago. However, once he met the lovely Renee Wilson, Sheldon could not help but plummet under her alluring charm. Still refusing to bring his heart into the equation, Sheldon submits a business proposal to Renee that promises bring the ultimate gratification beyond their wildest dreams. Is Renee willing to move their working relationship beyond the business aspect? More importantly, how will the Blackstone family react once they discover the secret of Renee's bumble of joy? Rochelle Alers' Beyond Business is a refreshing, heartwarming story that I really enjoyed reading. I found both Renee and Sheldon to be passionate and full of life. Renee is determined to make the best of life once she found herself pregnant, alone deeply broken hearted, after discovering some upsetting news from the man who she had given her heart to. Sheldon on the other hand, is a strong, compassionate man who I could not help but fall in love with. Readers I am sure once you encounter him, you will agree with me. There are numerous intimate interludes between Renee and Sheldon while they are not described in overly graphic detail, but in really romantic, sweet expressions. So, if you are looking for a great romantic read, then pick up Beyond Business. You will not be dissatisfied with this one. Although, Beyond Business is the third book in Ms. Alers' The Blackstone of Virginia series, it is a stand-alone book. Nikita Steele Reviewed for Joyfully Reviewed

I wish there were more Blackstone men to write about. Sheldon's story was so good. He and Renee's story was wonderful. Is there anymore of them.
