My career as a novelist began when I was twenty-three, with a phone call from New York announcing that CAROLINE would be published by Ballantine Books. Can you imagine my excitement? I went on to write 12 more bestselling historical romances set in Colonial America, Regency England & America, Medieval England & France, and the American West.

    Great read

    Kathleen and Jack's story was a joy to read. This 798 page story starts out in an old, dying mining town in 1864. We witness the struggles of the time, corruption, a Robin Hood vigilate, and of course, the growing sexual tension between Katie and Jack. The story keeps you so glued you won't be able to put it down.

    Brighter Than Gold is an exciting and fun story! Katie and Jack

    Brighter Than Gold is an exciting and fun story! Katie and Jack are fun, sexy , and made for each other. The Griffin is one of those characters that  are made into a hero, but also has flaws. This book has comedy, sadness, mystery, and  a wonderful love story. I'm very happy I went on this journey with Kathleen and Jack! Cynthia Wright is a wonderful writer!! You should definitely get this book and all of her other books!
