My name is Jordan Calher. Nice to meet you. Most of the time, I live in an attic in Pennsylvania with my dog-ter, Bling. She’s the most amazing, intelligent, wonderful, loving dog-ter ever. But I’ll spare you the gushings of a total dog-lover. When I’m not living in PA, I’m in a tiny medieval village in southern France – year-round population, 55. It’s called St Cirq Lapopie, and it is GORGEOUS. We’re talking “wake up in a fairy tale” gorgeous.

I was born in Hong Kong and began traveling the world at five years of age. Since that time, I’ve lived in Boston, Providence, Madison, Paris, Rome, Beijing and Prague. I’ve travelled to MA, ME, NC, GA, CO and CA; Spain, England, Wales, Italy, and Portugal; Morocco, Nepal, China, and the Philippines; Australia and New Zealand. And more. Travel is the most powerful way to change your world – DO IT.

I graduated cum laude from Boston University and am in love with New England. I moved to Madison, WI and worked two full-time jobs for two months while living in a housing co-op. I saved enough $ for a one-way ticket to Europe with $2000 reserved and had a BLAST for a full year.

BRITTLE is my second full-length novel. The sequel is in the works.

First novel by a new dynamic young author. A compelling topic of a young girl dealing with her Stage 1 diabetes and exploring her connection to witchcraft. The storyline will captivate and charm both teens and adults alike. Old Salem, Massachusetts comes alive in this tale of discovery and intrigue. I will be looking forward to his next novel, as I'm sure you will be too.

Sarah is a character you will instantly fall in love with, she is witty, smart, and has a cute sense of humour, she had me laughing hard sometimes.
Jordan Calher will grab you and take you away to another world, I loved how she put some sensible history into the novel. And the romance wasn't too little or too much, I liked Sarah's crush as much as she did! He is very protective and caring, just my type of guy.
Jordan Calher has my heart pounding so hard, waiting for Book2 in the series.

Insomnia of Books

I adored this book! The main character, Sara, was so loveable and believable. She's a teenage girl suffering from Type 1 Diabetes who, while searching the attic, uncovers part of her past and all of her future.
I loved the way this book was written. Not only was I caught up in how very "real" the character of Sara was, with her well described episodes with Diabetes, but being a New Englander and lover of all things witchcraft, I really enjoyed the history of the witch trials...

Jordan's writing is interesting and intriguing, with a beautiful story.
Sara deals w/family issues, relationship & friendship complications all the while trying to be a normal teenager in high school - but she'll soon discover that normal is just not who she is. Who she really is is something far greater and extraodinary that normal is so overrated. I recommend this book to anyone who is a fan of magic, witches and a self discovery to understand who you really are & what you're capable of.
