He finds freedom and companionship outside, but pressure building to revolt against the city's insidious regime of social control.. Leadership is thrust upon him, with only his visions for guidance, only a small band of friends for support-and the fates of both Newcity and the outside world at stake.

Cathedral of Dreams is a compelling tale of a dystopian future and personal heroism.

    Kept me guessing

I enjoyed the fact that I spent the first three-quarters of the book trying to understand what was going on. Ultimately, I think the book is a statement about the value of free will. The main character is well developed as are some of the peripheral characters. I'm still not sure I completely understand everything, but that means I have lots of food for thought.

    Making You Think....

Terry Persun's newest saga is readable, and somewhat noir, account of the "baggage" we bring with us into the larger world where we have to make our own decisions. It is an unsettling peek into how that baggage affects our decisions. I recommend it as a book that makes you think about how you reach decisions to act, or not act.
