Editorial Reviews

Peter Johnson
Character Witness is another riveting legal whodunit from Rebecca Forster, who has a sharp eye for detail and a keen ear for dialogue. She has written he real L.A. Law, and it’s fun stuff, indeed. A good read, this is.
Publishers Weekly
The author of Keeping Counsel and Beyond Malice does what one expects of a good writer of legal thrillers, i.e., drives the plot through unexpected twists without overstretching the bounds of credible law. But Forster adds a bonus by transcending the flat stereotypes of the genre and creating, instead, diverse and realistically drawn characters.
Richard Cheverton
Page turner!, July 26, 2010
I've read virtually all of Rebecca's "Witness" series *--amazing how she can drive a plot at top-speed without jumping off the tracks. Her books are full of well-drawn, memorable characters facing big, contemporary challenges. Try one--you'll be hooked!
*Character Witness is NOT Witness Series book

Another Forster Good Read
I am becoming a fan of Rebecca Forster and this book was no exception. It was well written along with believable characters that drew me into their lives. I found the book to be very interesting and surprised by many of the turn of events which is what a good mystery should do. I plan on reading more of her books.

Another great read in the "Witness" series from Rebecc

Another great read in the "Witness" series from Rebecca Forster. The picture she 'paints' for you will make it almost impossible to put this legal thriller down. The way she intertwines the subplots leaves one to wonder: is she is an attorney or sheer genius? If you read just one book this year it must be Character Witness. This book is "so, so good", get it today.

    more from this reviewer

    I Also Recommend:

    Fast paced, tension filled read!

Character Witness is not part of the other 'Witness Series' books by the same author, but just as engaging. The characters all come to life and the twists and turns to the storyline will keep you up late trying to figure it out. Rebecca Forster is a real find. Download this one, you won't be disappointed.

I have read all of Forster's witness series. They are so captivating, I hope she continues to write. She has such a way with using the right words in her sentences that just make the sentences flow. She gives you just enough detail of her characters to form a picture in your mind of who they are, without being boring. In this book, she brings the main character, Kathleen, to life by portraying her as a strong independent woman, who knows what she wants, but also shows her emotional side, where her uncle is concerned. Forster makes her into a very likable character. You feel yourself cheering her on.

    Couldn't put it down

Another wonderful book from Rebecca Forster. I have read the whole Witness book series and they are very suspenseful> This one was also very good.

    Good Story!

The story was interesting but the typos were very annoying. Hopefully Ms. Forster's other ebooks don't have the numerous errors that this book had. It was distracting and took away from the story. --K--
