Meet the Author

Charles Burgess, author of “Ghetto Sopranos,” resides in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He has been a used car salesman who enjoys writing. Charles is also C.E.O of Underground Publications, who specializes in helping inspiring writers bring their dreams to life.

The author, Mr. Galena, steps up with “Confessions,” part of a two book story. Also to his credit is “Duffle Bag Boyz” and “Miss Money Bagz”. Mr. Galena, aka Beaster, resides in Milwaukee and writes full time.

Juanita Richardson, was born and raised in a small town, called Luxora, Arkansas, to the late Mr. and Mrs. John Edward Richardson Sr. [Snook and Mae Frances]. Juanita is a former Board Member of The Charles Strong Recreation Center. She enjoys writing, music, sports, children, and family time. Juanita is one of the new beginners in “Chocolate Rose.” She states that she hopes you all enjoy all of the erotic love stories here.

G.P.A. (Greatest Poet Alive), aka the poetic unsub is the author of the best selling, critically acclaimed book of poetry, “The Confessional Heart of a Man.” He is the Chicago Poetry Penthalon champion. GPA has been featured in the Chicago Sun Times, Michael Baisden radio show, and will appear on TLC (The Learning Channel) debut show, Black Essence Awards Showcase.

Jamie Underwood, creator of the poetry piece, “Dare to be Touched,” writes heart and soul felt poetry in her spare time. Jamie Resides in Milwaukee with her daughter, Ayanna Washington. Be on the look out for more of her touching pieces in the near future.

Schelli N. Smith was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and although she currently works in the security field, her true passion is writing. “Virgin White,” a fictional horror novel, was her first accomplishment and now she is proud to have the privilege of contributing to “Chocolate Rose”.

Laurie Bowler resides in Hampshire, a county located in the United Kingdom, where she started writing fantasy fiction in late November 2009. She finds it fascinating to create stories that could never happen in the real world. After reading hundreds of romance novels, she knew she wanted to write romance.
