    Complete Idiot's Guide to 2012

A good basic read for someone who wants to know about the Mayan long count calendar and prophecies concerning 2012. Very basic and easy to read -- no need to have any previous knowledge about Mayan history. Good overall guide, reads easily, gets facts right and pretty unbiased. Useful comparisons regarding other end times prophecies. Didn't really see the need to include information about crop circles and probably wasn't needed as part of the book. Overall, I would recommend this book to anyone interested in learning about 2012 and the Mayan long count calendar. An abundance of useful website links.
