The writings of Josephus are well respected in the Chrstian community as reliable and well written. From him we can gain insight into the life of Moses, the destruction of Jerusalem in 70 A.D. , and some truly fascinating background on the dispersion of the sons of Noah, the population of the nations of the world and their subsequent renaming by the Greek empire. That's just the start. This is a huge book filled with treasures, get one and dig in. As far as the physical volume goes, I can only thank Attic Books for undertaking such a huge project and doing such an excellent job. In a culture where books are becoming a secondary form of information dispersion, It's great to see someone putting out just plain great books. For as large as it is, it's light and easy to carry. The paper is high quality, the binding is solid and the illustrations are truly awe inspiring. Buy this one for your school, church or home library, you won't be disappointed!

This book would be a much better read if there were a Table of Contents to help navigate. As it is, it simply keeps going as one long piece, making it difficult to find the next topic.
