    Beautifully Written & Sizzling Hot!

    Beautifully Written & Sizzling HOT!

This is a perfect story of a denied longing finally being fulfilled with desire and love to last forever. The emotional buildup between the characters Javier and Lilah is thrilling with excitement as they go against the vampire’s society rules and let their feelings and wants in their hearts rule their actions. The erotic scenes will definitely satisfy your minds sexual hunger and having you seeking your own release especially after the binding of Javier while Lilah takes advantage in the 69 position – so freakin’ hot!

The story is brilliantly written with the author’s smooth words that bring the story, the connection between the characters, and the fighting action of survival alive that has the reader feeling everything the characters feel immediately as if they were experiencing it themselves. I loved the happy ever after ending and cannot wait to read the next story in this new series to learn more about Callum, Snow, and Antoine.

I love Felicity Heaton’s writing and I always look forward to every book she writes because they always guarantee satisfaction. This is one book I highly recommend to all paranormal erotic romance lovers.

    Excellent Read!

    Amazingly smexy

A forbidden lust that has lasted two years, coveting from afar to finally explode into love. Javier is an elite vampire, one of the men to run a Vampire Erotic Theater. Since meeting Lilah, he had been lusting for her. She is a mortal slave; one already owned by another vampire. All this time, Javier and Lilah had managed to avoid each other and avoid being alone in the same room until they meet in a private box during a play *fanning self*. Unfortunately, “there is one rule his kind honoured above all others: an owned human must never be touch by a vampire other than their master”, a problem Javier cannot avoid.

The romance was not as strong as I would like it but it is apparent. However, the sexual tension is more evident and you can feel it right though the pages as you read! Super smexy scenes!!! The vampires in this world are rich, powerful with strong alpha traits, which I love. There will be claiming, jealousy and a battle for love.

This is my first Heaton book and will definitely not be my last. I have to say that this book is not for the faint of heart. It has strong sexual scenes that will leave you lusting and may cause high stress if not sated. I highly recommend this book for anyone who is prepared to take the consequences of the emotional after affects.

Steamy and energetic, a fantastic read!

Lilah is pretty much owned by Lord Ashville, a vampire. The rules in vampire society say that no one else shall ever touch or be with Lilah while she is under the bond of Lord Ashville. But Javier, he wants her. He’s tried to deny it, he’s tried to ignore it; but he can’t do that any longer. He must have her, regardless of the cost – which could very easily mean his life.

Lilah has been watching Javier also, and she wants him just as bad. There are stolen glances and hopes only she knows of.

“There was one rule his kind honored above all others: an owned human must never be touched by a vampire other than their master.”

One night there is an opportunity for them to come together, and they take it...breathlessly, in need, full of passion and lust. The erotic scenes from the performance on the stage below them serve as a soundtrack to their passion. Seriously, I could not read fast enough, the scene was written so beautifully and erotically that I was enamored from the start.

Javier is just the perfect vampire male; handsome and sexy, intelligent and logical, full of passion and strength. If I was Lilah, I don’t think I could have resisted him either. And Lilah is shy yet strong, letting Javier bring out traits in her that weren’t usually on the forefront. She is a clever woman, and one can only hope that cleverness pays off for the both of them.

This is a relatively short story, taking place over one evening. But Felicity packs so much into that short span, you are thoroughly entertained. The steam level is at a high, and it is perfect in its heat. There is also a bit of not intimate action, which I found to be entirely exciting and was holding my breath waiting for the outcome. So hard to not give spoilers here!!

Read this for yourself and see what I mean. I read this in one sitting, I couldn’t put it down. If you like vampires or erotic romance, I’m sure it will be the same for you.

Our Review [by Debbie, a LITERAL ADDICTION Associate Guest Revie

Our Review [by Debbie, a LITERAL ADDICTION Associate Guest Reviewer]:

So when I asked for a recommendation for a very steamy book with a good plot Michelle Our Pack Alpha told me about Felicity Heaton’s new Vampire Erotic Theatre series. After finding out that she needed a review for these 1st 2 books I agreed knowing that Michelle has some strange Alpha Power that allows her to ALWAYS know exactly what we all want to read at the time, even if we don’t. She was right, as always! I loved them. I couldn’t believe how enthralled I was while reading Covet. My heart was racing and I was probably panting along with the characters and I couldn’t do anything about it but read!

Covet is novella about Javier and Lilah and their forbidden but undeniable attraction to each other. Javier has dreamed and fantasized about her for 2 years but being that she is owned by a very powerful vampire of his club he has kept his feeling to himself. He thinks his attraction is totally one sided and really beats himself up for feeling the way he does.

There was one rule his kind honored above all others: an owned human must never be touched by a vampire other than their master

Lilah has desired Javier since she was sent to Vampirerotique by her Master, Lord Ashville. To say that she is confused by how she feels and her life is an understatement. She isn’t like the other owned humans and she hates her Master. She has tried to run many times before he finally sent her to the theater. She is tough and a survivor but doesn’t think Javier sees her as anything special.

Once they come together it is explosive. They both have such amazing feelings for one another that the emotion bleeds from the page. Both of them are willing to give anything for the other even their lives. The erotic scenes’ both on the stage and between Javier and Lilah left me feeling like I should be laying in bed with a cigarette in one hand and a glass of whiskey in the other and tears in my eyes.

The action in this book is intense. It is 100% VAMPIRE. There is blood, blood and more blood. Sometimes when I am reading a novella I notice that the author has toned down the sex and violence. That is not the case in this book. After reading Crave, the next book in the series I can say that this book is a great opener and shows you what to expect in the rest of the series.

Felicity Heaton grabbed my attention with this book and I was excited that I had the next book, Crave already and able to read now. I am not sure whose book I am looking forward to more Snow or Antoine. Snow I want him to get his own HEA so bad and Antoine… well, I just can’t wait to see him fall after all the attitude.

If you are looking for a quick erotic paranormal with enough heat to keep you warm in a blizzard then check this one out.

LITERAL ADDICTION'S Associate Reviewer gives Covet 4 Skulls and would recommend it to erotic and paranormal romance fans far and wide.

    Another Great Read!

When I was asked if I’d like to read and review Covet, I said yes without knowing anything about the book. I was that sure the story would be fantastic because I love Felicity Heaton’s voice. I’m happy to say, Ms. Heaton did not disappoint. Javier is one of several vampires that own and run the Vampirerotique—a theatre that offers wickedly erotic and sinfully pleasurable shows to other vampires. Over the last two years he’s become captivated by Lilah, a human female that works in his theatre. Unfortunately, he can’t indulge in any of his numerous fantasies about her. She is owned by Lord Ashville, a very powerful Aristocrat vampire, and touching another vampire’s bonded human will cause that human immeasurable pain—and the penalty to the offending vampire is death. Lilah and Javier’s attraction to each other becomes a tangible thing, and Javier commits the ultimate sin when he gives in to his desires and makes love to Lilah. Their connection is deeper and stronger than he imagined. Losing her, living without her is not an option. Javier will fight Lord Ashville for Lilah—to the death. I loved this story. Any time an author can inject an emotional connection into an erotic scene, I’m hooked—I’m a body, heart and soul kinda gal. Covet had an interesting plot that moved the story forward while carrying the erotic elements. Short stories aren’t usually my first choice for reading because there’s just not enough word count to build out the necessary elements for a good book. Covet mostly did. The story opened with Javier’s captivation with Lilah fully in place. So, other than his description of Lilah being beautiful, I had no real substance to ground his obsession with Lilah in Lilah became a more dimensional character once we learn of her protecting another human from a vampire in the club. Her concern for Javier after they’ve been together also shows her caring nature and personality. My other problem was with Javier himself. He knew being with Lilah would cause her horrible pain, but he made sure he was a considerate lover by making Lilah orgasm. The reader knew Lilah wasn’t in pain, but Javier didn’t. So that made me think his character was a little insensitive in that he assumed he could pleasure her while she was in pain—which would mean Lilah was a masochist and we as the reader had none of that information. Admittedly, I’m thinking pretty deep into the story and character development, but that’s what readers do. Especially when it’s an author we love and expect nothing but great novels from. Did either of my issues detract from the story? A little, but not really in the grand scheme of things. I will absolutely read next novel in Ms. Heaton’s Vampirerotique series. You should too!

    BRIEF SUMMARY
Javier has been craving Lilah since he’s first seen her. As one of the owners of Vampireotique, Javier has to see Lilah, and the past two years as been unbearable restraining his desires for her. What prevents Javier from claiming Lilah, she is bond to another who is a powerful aristocrat. If Javier succumbs to his desires it will be immediate death for him and trouble for Lilah.

    THOUGHTS (May contain spoilers)

Ladies, welcome to Vampirerotique, where I would love my pleasures to be dealt with. This theater harbors four delicious vampires, Javier, Callum, Antonie, and Snow and they are the owners of Vampirerotique. Covet is Javier’s story, as he struggles with his desires for Lilah, who is human and belongs to another who is more powerful than Javier.

This story for me was extreme heat at its finest as it felt like a long seductive and sensual foreplay between Javier and Lilah. Their forbidden love definitely heightens the attraction to the reader as they are aware and tries to prevent succumbing to each other as neither can control their desires. Their moment in the private box at the theater while watching an erotic sexual performance sets the pace for the rest of their moments together.

The climax of the story was just as good when Lilah’s keeper comes to claim her and wreaks havoc on the vampire who dares or try to violate his claim over, Lilah. This moment was exciting for me because there is nothing better than seeing angry vampires in a room together. All these vampires in a room together was such a turn on and I’m eager for their stories in this series. I enjoyed getting to know each vampire a bit; however, I don’t know how old Snow is, but with his temper and the mystery surrounding him it makes me want to know more about him.

The author, Felicity Heaton, created a theater, which made me feel as though I wanted to be apart of it with its erotica performances. Fans of paranormal erotica will surely feel satisfied once they’ve reached the end of this story of forbidden love.

    Storyline: GOOD
Intimacy: D.R.I.P (Don’t Read In Public) / SPICY
    Enjoyment: GOOD

Vampires + Forbidden lust + Erotica = Fabulous start to a new series

    Covet =

    1. To feel blameworthy desire for (that which is another's).

    2. To wish for longingly.

This is my first Felicity Heaton book and I want more!! She had me from the first line -

"There was one rule his kind honoured above all others: an owned human must never be touched by a vampire other than their master."

Book one in her Vampire Erotic Theatre series starts off with the story of Javier and Lilah. Javier knows it's his life if he gives into his craving for Lilah, she is an owned human but that has not curbed his desire for her, neither has his time away from Vampirerotique it has only intensified it.

With the theatre full of lust, desire, and the temptation from the erotic plays going on around them there was no way they could stay away from each other. Even with the fear of death and pain looming over them they both fell victim to their primal urges for each other.

I will definitely be picking up more of Felicity Heaton's after reading this, her writing is so smooth and flows right off the page/e-reader. So if you are looking for a new erotic vampire series that is fast paced, well written, and full of smutty goodness this is a great read to pick up!

Book 2 CRAVE will be out March 10th -you don't want to miss this series.

    Covet = Cold Shower Needed

Honestly where to start, this book left me speechless and wanting more.

I dont even know what to say about how great and hot this book is. I love it.

So I'm going to take a day and figure out exactly what I want to say.

Ok so I feel bad it has taken me longer than a day, but I truely have found no good words to say hot and sexy this book is, great start to a wonderful series to be.

I would recommend this book to anyone who likes Paranormal, Erotica, Vampires.

I felt like I needed multiple cold showers.

I am going to reread the book again so that I can add more because this book deserves a better review than what I gave it. I just haven't been able to put anything else to words.

Hot read alert! Really hot read :D

Hot read alert! Really hot read :D I've had a lot of fun reading this, the notion of the Vampirerotique was a really hot one. The notion of humans belonging to vampires is a really fun tangent for me to read, and as I often do I found myself wanting the story to explore that aspect more, but I'm hoping the next installments in the series will :D Yes, I can be shameless, sue me! The characters were what I liked the most, Javier and Lilah were really great to read; of course, of the two my favorite was Javier, predictable, I know. The emotions and strenuous desires of the vampire were very vivid, I was overwhelmed with his covetous desires for Lilah - in this too the author did a fabulous job at bringing the story to life. Javier's feelings and care for Lilah are touching, so it feels somewhat strange for me to describe this as erotica, more like adult intense romance. Lilah was an interesting character as well, she was vulnerable and sort of shy while at the same time brave, and there was a distinct sense of sensuality about her wrapped in this sort of irresistible innocence, so I could totally see why Javier fell for her. One of the aspects I liked a lot about Javier and Lilah was their chemistry, sort of simmering and simmering and then bursting into this yummy intensity, totally awesome. Their relationship was about a lot of feeling as well as attraction, that's what makes a really good adult read in my opinion, and this was definitely a great adult read, awesome in fact. And since we're talking characters, let me tell you I totally want to read more about Snow, he was the most intriguing and mysterious character for me. I SO want to read more about him, I'd love to see him as main character in a story or 10, I totally dig him that much. All in all, I say you should read this if you're an adult and you're into PNR, I loved it and I've read it already twice since I got the ARC - that's a really rare occurrence!

    A Must Read!!!!

Oh my gosh, this novella is yummy. The scenes are so tempting, so much so you will wish it was a full length novel. The only disappoint was when the adventure ended. I cannot hope enough that we won't have to wait long for the next book. It makes you wish for the bond Javier and Lilah have found, curious about Snow, Antoine, and Callum and if their stories will be next. Felicity is one of my favorite authors, and I recommend this book to all who long to find that special someone. Covet is a fantastic first in a new series!

A Reading the Paranormal Recommended Read!

Oh, hello, hot stuff. Whew. Can Felicity Heaton write the steamy or can Felicity Heaton write the steamy? *fans self* I will freely admit that this book hit all my forbidden love kinks. The strong, silent male who has an instant attraction to his female but has to deny it (for whatever reason) makes my heart go pitter-patter. In this case, Javier is bound by the laws of his kind to leave Lilah alone. To touch her would cause her terrible pain but things happen and the touching starts and ... it was perfect!

I really like this entire world. First off, it's sexy. Sex-ay. It's a Vampire Erotic Theatre, for Pete's sake. There's plenty of sexing to go around. Javier and Lilah have that aforementioned forbidden attraction thing going for them and being in a place where sex takes place very publicly gets their respective engines revving. THINGS HAPPEN! It's pretty awesome.

Fast paced and entirely too fun, Felicity Heaton's vampires are well-fleshed out and will leave you waiting impatiently for the next book in the series.

    Hot and Steamy

I absolutely loved this book. The chemistry between Javier the sexy elite vampire and the human Lilah was not only steamy and passionate, but forbidden.
The desire of both Javier and Lilah to be together and know love if only for a short time, before they are forced to deal with the consequences made me root for their forbidden love even harder.
While Javier and Lilah's story ends Felicity introduces some characters that I'm sure you'll want to know more about. I can't wait for book two.

    Covet by Felicity Heaton: AMAZING!

I haven't read any of Felicity Heaton's books until this one and I was very pleased! Lilah and Javier have an attraction and desire for each other and try to keep it from one another. This is one of the most erotic stories that I have read, I like the fact that it's not just erotic but it's a love story. I got the chance to fall in love with the characters as they fell in love with each other. They risked everything for each other and it turned out good in their favor. Snow taking up for them was a big shocker for me and an exciting twist on the story. Lilah is a strong person, when she stood up to Lord Ashville for Javier it was gut-wrenching because I knew she would survive I just didn't know how.

Covet was a fast paced, blood-rushing, erotic romance story. Felicity Heaton is a great writer. It was a definite pleasure to read this book. I can't wait until the next book comes out because Covet left me needing MORE, I will be buying her next book in this series for sure!

    Romantic Vampire Novella

It seems ages since I have read one of Felicity's books and this was a great re-introduction back into her worlds. I love Felicity's vampire worlds, her characters tormented, dark and loyal. With her scenes written with love and devotion Felicity does not miss one minor detail. She makes it easy to close your eyes and picture her settings and characters and a master of descriptive emotions.

This short romp of romance, forbidden lust and tantalizing bedroom action had me wanting to know more of this vampire world. This one felt different to her usual somehow. The storyline was quick but with enough action to keep your interested. This short novella is a great start to a new world I will definitely be following.
