Who wants to be an Elf?

Do you have scares on the top of your ears?
Did you get strange powers when you turned thirteen?
Are you morbidly afraid of spiders?
Then you could be an elf!
With the young Seven Elven lords stolen from their families as infants. They were taken to earth to be hidden till the 'Age of Reckoning'.
Now the Time has come. The worlds are open for good and for evil to enter. Will the children return or be killed. who will find them first? The Spider King and his minions or the last remits of Elves.
Curse of the Spider King will make all arachnophobias tremble, all hero's rise, all archers shoot better, in hopes that they are one of the 7.
Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper make this a nail biting adventure. They did an excellent job creating a world 'Allyar'. That will have you wishing you could go there. They also did a wonderful job with the mixing of two time periods, thousands of years apart. The characters are extremely well rounded and will make you love them all even Mobius, the chief Drefid.

    Review (sav)

This is an amazing book! Though many will find the amount of characters hard to keep up with, I think that this is an amazing book and worth the money to own. I am almost done with the second book, and they are brilliant. The authors really knew what they were talking about, and wrote many detail that come alive in your head. I would let this be for all ages, but will the very detailed battle scenes, and deaths through-out the book, I will rate this for ages 7+!

I truly hope you will consider this book, and buy it! I will warn you though, these books will leave you on your seat's end, begging for more! They are absolutly wonderful books, and you will be happy to own them! -sav

    Awesome book!

This book is amazing! It's all about 7 teenagers who get amazing powers when they turn 13. Each has a protecter and they all face challenges as they try to return to their homeworld of Allyra. Sadly the author only wrote 2 books and then couldn 't get enough support to continue. Read the book and the sequel "Venom amd Song"!

The Beginning to my favorite fantasy series EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When I first picked up this book early in fifth grade I was immediately immersed deep in the story. The plot is about seven adopted teens who find out they are not what they seem. The plot starts out slow; lots of suspense, of course, but little action. This may deter some people but Batson and Hopper managed to hold my attention. After about 100 pages, the plot speeds up a lot with plenty of action, revelation, and more suspense. It ends with a exciting climax, which will leave you wanting to read more.

One thing that some readers may also have trouble with is following all seven characters. Most probably will not, for Batson and Hopper did an excellent job of making the characters very distinct.

    Cons:

    * The large cast may confuse some readers
    * The plot starts out a little too slow for some people

    Pros:
    * Suspenseful and exiting Christ centered storyline
    * LOTS of action that will entertain readers throughout the book
    * EXTREME action packed climax and cliff hanger ending

Once again, Batson and Hopper have created a masterpiece of Christian literature that will leave readers gaping, anxiously awaiting to get the next book. Highly recommended even to secular readers!!!

This is an EPIC adventure for all!!

The time has come. The pieces are set and The Spider King has waited ever so patiently for this opportune moment. He strikes and the Allyran Elves have no clue the magnitude of force that has been unleashed. What will become of the elves? Is their race doomed to become nothing more than a footnote in the rewrite history at the hands of The Spider King? Or will there one shred of hope in the Berinfell Prophecies come to pass. This adventurous tale is co-written by Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper. The Spider King is the first book of the Berinfell Prophecies and is full of great twists and turns, ups and downs, and leaves you wanting more! Authors Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper trigger the imagination to enter a new world of heroism and horrific evil.

    Curse of the Spider King

Seven teens find themselves followed by mysterious people while gaining unbelievable powers. It doesn't take long for them to learn the Spider King's assassins are out to get them, and elves are out to protect them. Will they place their lives in God's hands and follow the elves back to their homeland.before it's too late?
Wayne Thomas Batson and Christopher Hopper are amazing together, and this book is an epic start for their co-authorship series; I couldn't set it down! :D Watch out for the cliffhanger! It almost killed me. -.-

    Curse of the Spider King

The spider king is on the hunt again. Searching for seven elven lords, lost to earth hundreds of years ago. But he has ears everywhere, and it seems they live, and are about to reach the age of reckoning. Read the book, and see what happens to 7 "normal" kids with abnormal abilities! Curse of the Spider king, masterful book by Wayne Batson, and Christopher Hopper. The second book in a series of five is coming out in June 2010!!!

    AMAZZING!!!!!!!!

What a great book. That's what I thought after reading this. Mr. B and CH have seven (yes seven) different main characters. And somehow they each are characterized so well. That is extremely hard to do as an author. Well done!
