Overview

David Mitchell, who you may know for his inappropriate anger on every TV panel show except Never Mind the Buzzcocks, his look of permanent discomfort on C4 sex comedy Peep Show, his online commenter-baiting in The Observer or just for wearing a stick-on moustache in That Mitchell and Webb Look, has written a book about his life.As well as giving a specific account of every single time he's scored some smack, this disgusting memoir also details:• the singular, pitbull-infested charm of the FRP (‘Flat Roofed Pub’)• the curious French habit of injecting everyone in the arse rather than the arm• why, by the time he got to Cambridge, he really, really needed a drink• the pain of being denied a childhood birthday party at McDonalds• the satisfaction of writing jokes about suicide• how doing quite a lot of walking around London helps with his sciatica• trying to pretend he isn’t a total **** at Robert Webb’s wedding• that he has fallen in love at LOT, but rarely done anything about it• why it would be worse to bump into Michael Palin than Hitler on holiday• that he’s not David Mitchell the novelist. Despite what David Miliband might think

you have the wrong David Mitchell listed under "meet the author."  There are two well-known Brits called David Mitchell: the author as you have listed and a comedian.  This book is a memoir written by the comedian.

David Mitchell's angry logic comes out in this book in droves. If you enjoy his goofy sense of humor end ridiculous properness you will love this book. You don't get a lot of his angry rants but by learning his backstory you understand why he is so hilariously pissed off.

Rosalimd strolled through, gazing sadly at the ruined buildings. As she walked down the block, she couldnt help but ait and watch a particular builsing belonging to an old scientist. He was slightly mad, but obbsessed with cats and Rosey was constantly by him, looking at his research. She almost felt sorry looking at the rubble that was once an inproved house. Suddenly, the old scientist started pushing her foward, toward the rubble of his lab. He pulled away the huge rocks easily, and pulled out a dusty syringe, containing a brown liquid. The earthquake and all this must have made him mad. He shoved the syringe into her, and she collasped to the ground. He slipped on a flower patterened sheet over her, and carried her over the fences, and into the forest. Rosey groaned, and threw the sheet off. She thought she was in bed but that changed when she noticed the tree and a spiderweb complete with a spider on her face. She threw them off effortlessly, and stood up. She felt more powerful then before. She felt an itch on her head. She reached up, but she found a furry thing. It was an ear. She screamed loudly, triggering a chain of singing and cawing birds. She looked around, then she saw a tail seeping out from her night gown.
