    A good resource

For those of us who feel like planting a garden is providing sustenance to the local deer population, the book is quite interesting and informative. It combines physiological information on how deer are wired and then a good list of plants that they may avoid. As with human nature, it is likely that deer appetites vary regionally as some of the plants listed as deer resistant have delivered hearty breakfasts to our local brood. But in general, the list conforms to the generally accepted list of deer resistant plants.

This book should be on every shelf of gardeners with a local deer and varmint population.
