    Loved this

I just finished this book and found it very interesting. It is particulariy interesting if you have a child with learning or behavior issues. I'm shocked to see the low ratings on B&N's site. On Amazon it is at 4.5 stars. I'm a picky reader and really liked it. Also would be a great book for teachers and anyone who works with children.

    Interesting!

This book offers an abundance of information about right brain and left brain strengths and deficiencies. So much information including brain development, a checklist to help determine deficiency, nutrition plan, exercises and at home therapy. I havent found any book like it. Very interesting!

Obviously only one person read this

All but 1 of the reviews actually have some comments. So it is obviously someone trying to skew the ratings. Thank you to the person who wrote a review. I am purchasing it right now.

This book helped me to understand why my child had difficulty focusing, what the causes were, and helped me to realize that many of the problems were not my fault. I came to understand how to help my child but also to help teachers help my child. I highly recommend this book to any parent with a child with neurological disorders.

Very interesting book. At first, I was having trouble wading through all the info. I found it helpful to skim through some of the worksheet/testing sections and read through to the end. Now, I'm going back through the assessments with my two oldest children.
We are not dealing with autism or any auto-immune behavioral disorder, but have some learning disabilities. The info in this book is really shedding some light on all the areas with which we have struggled. I knew some of the nutritional information, but was educated even further on the negative effects of certain foods when children have an intolerance.
The book was recommended to me by a mother whose son is dyslexic. She was trying the Orton Gillingham program and not thrilled with the amount of work involved and slow progress.
I'm at the very beginning of trying the techniques in this book and can't give a qualified assessment or glowing review on how it works. However, based on the other resources I have researched, all this information made complete sense to me.

This book and the program has given my son a chance in life!  He is new and improved!  He can better communicate with us and others, he doesn't have as many sensory issues and has learned how to deal better with frustration.  I highly recommend this book and program.
