The soundtrack is presented in both Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround as well as DTS Surround, both in English. Both of these soundtracks feature a full range of Surrounds and directional effects. Each track is clear of any hiss or excessive distortion, making this one of the best Friday the 13th audio mixes available on DVD. Also included on this disc is a Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround soundtrack, along with English subtitles. Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday includes a few extra features that should really "slay" fans of the series. Starting off the disc is a commentary track by Adam Marcus and screenwriter Dean Lorey. This is a very humorous track that features tons of gooey info on the production of the film. A few deleted scenes (originally used to pad the TV version of the film) are included which allow the fans a glimpse of what ended up on the cutting-room floor. Finally there is a theatrical trailer for the film and a fun "Jump to a Death" scene menu.

Although its producers had tried every gimmick from 3-D photography to geeky in-jokes in their quest to churn out an endless string of Friday the 13th films, it wasn't until this ninth entry in the series that they found the right balance between postmodern snarkiness and horror-film staples. Filled with enough meat-and-potatoes gore to satisfy slasher aficionados, Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday also displays a refreshing willingness to not only poke fun at, but also completely deconstruct, the basic tenets of the franchise. As would happen in the real world if a relentless serial killer exhibited a compunction to repeat his modus operandi without any thought of concealment over the course of an entire decade, the authorities bring heavy firepower to bear on Jason Vorhees. Fifteen minutes into the film, the unstoppable ghoul is history. This uncharacteristically realistic (and jaw-droppingly hilarious) development opens the door for new directions in the story -- and also in how it's told. An element of actual suspense creeps back into the formula, as do bits of mockumentary silliness and tons of self-reflexive humor. Almost a decade later, Jason X would take these tendencies into outer space, but Jason Goes to Hell -- as uneven as it is -- remains the true return to form.

    Jason Goes To Hell...at the end of this movie!

    The title is misleading...No you do not see Jason in Hell or much of Jason at all. Just 2 20 minute segments and when ever someone he's possessed walks in front of something reflective. Jason Voorhees gets blown up by the FBI. Bounty Hunter Creighton Duke doesn't believe Jason is truly dead and When a Corner eats Jason's malformed heart, the mass murder's soul is transferred to the Corner's body as well as 'The Hell Baby'. Jason needs to find a true Voorhees to be reborn.... Jason Goes To Hell: The Final Friday is certainly not the best but by no means the worst. 1. We've got one of the Best Jason"s", Kane Hodder. 2.Friday the 13th Part V is infintely worse.

    Terrible, Terrible...

    The first Jason movie was definitely the best one. After that, they started to go downhill. This one was probably the worst of all of them so far. Very, very disappointing.
