A fast-moving farce that will leave theater fans in stitches, Noises Off! offers an all-star cast in some of the actors' finest performances. Presented in 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen, the image boasts vibrant colors and even skin tones. If the English Dolby Digital 5.1 audio mix doesn't score strong points in terms of fully realizing its potential, it does recreate the sounds of the theater in a way that will take viewers out of their living room and have them checking for their ticket stub while making a trip to the restroom. An alternate French Dolby Digital Stereo soundtrack is also included, as are optional French subtitles.

I stumbled across this movie years ago, and I was in hysterics almost immediately. Definite recommendation!
i saw this play performed in High School. i thought it was funny then, but when i saw the real movie/play, i thought it was even funnier!! a must see!
If you have EVER been involved in theater you will know exactly what these people are going through. I have never laughed so hard before. I can relate with them. I have been there and will be there again.
I first saw the movie about 3 years ago and recomend it to anyone who loves a good comedy. What makes this play/movie so funny you ask? Drama, drama, drama...on and off the stage. A minute will not go by without a good laugh. Also, the movie has an outstanding cast...John Ritter, Michael Caine, Carol Bernett, etc. A must see...take my word for it.
One of the funniest movies I have ever seen. I highly recomend it to everyone. The cast is amazingly talented.
I actually was in a stage production of Noises Off. I played Gary (John Ritter's character), and I can honestly say it was the best production I have ever had the pleasure of being associated with. The movie and the show are almost identical, with the exception of a couple England-to-America translations; and they are both equally as hillarious. It's an all-star cast, and if you have the means, I highly suggest picking it up.
Bogdonovitch makes a terrifc film adaptation of a very funny play! This hilarious stage play makes a remarkable transition to film which is no easy task. I saw this film in it's theatrical release years ago after having seen it on stage half a dozen times and was not disappointed. It did not have a long life in movie thetares which I never understood. A terrific ensemble cast makes this one worth seeing over and over again! Laugh till it hurts!
This movie is a definite must see!. The scenes are gut busting hilarious. I always laght so hard. You should definitly get this. It's a behind the scenes look at a play and everything that could go wrong.
This is probably one of the best plays about making plays ever written. It captures not only the trials and tribulations of producing a play, but it examines the quirks of the players involved. The cast is stupendous and each does an bang up job. I laughed so hard the first time I saw it I almost couldn't breathe, and almost as hard each time since.
I stumbled upon this movie one lazy afternoon on television and was laughing within the first three minutes. After months of searching I was finally able to find a used copy online on video. I can't wait for the dvd to be released. If you enjoy a great cast and just a feel-good, well-written comedy, than this is one to add to the collection.
Check out the all-star cast. This is basic comedy at its best. If you dont laugh at this...then you should check to see if you have a pulse!! Love it. Love it. Love it.
