Nancy Meyers' hit comedy Something's Gotta Give comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1. English and French soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital 5.1. English, French, and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include a pair of commentary tracks. The first features Meyers with female lead Diane Keaton (who earned an Oscar nomination for her work in this film) and producer Bruce A. Block. Obviously, Meyers deeply appreciated Keaton's work on the film, and the track is long on good fun if short on much notable filmmaking information. The second track features Meyers and male lead Jack Nicholson. Their track is much like an episode of Inside the Actor's Studio. Meyers fawns over Nicholson, but Nicholson goes into a certain amount of detail about how he shapes a character, and how he concentrates on the nuances of his character. This is a rather intriguing commentary. A deleted scene in which Nicholson's character sings to Keaton's, a tour of the film's main set hosted by co-star Amanda Peet, and filmographies round out this solid DVD.

'Something's Gotta Give' is the most delightful, inventive, humorous, romantic comedy in decades ~~ a fetchingly funny movie which is due 100% to Diane Keaton and Jack Nicholson. Both have an unique understanding of romance and its often hilarious and outrageous consequences. They are a delight to watch: Diane as her defences tumble down and Jack's chauvinism crumbles & he realizes that 'older women' can be fun, sexy & delicious. Cuddle up with someone, you won't be sorry.
This tops the list of this years best movies. This one is a keeper, a must have for your DVD collection. The comedy, the romance, all tops !!!
Dialog very contrived and rehearsed. OK.... would have been upset if I paid to see this in a movie.
I never thought that a 58 year old woman could be hot naked, but I was sure shocked when I saw Diane Keaton buck naked in this movie.
Keanu Reeves is sweet,Jack is, well, gross and Diane is, what, like 70 years old??? This was the worst movie I have seen in a few years. I saw this film on a flight to Aruba and I was trapped!!! Frances McDormand was wasted on this number! Yuk!
This was one of the best Jack Nicholas movies in awhile, but Diane Keaton? She was even better! I give this movie five stars even though it got slow at the end, but it was still funny.
I've always loved Diane Keaton and this movie is a reminder of why. She effortlessly moves back and forth between comedy and drama. It's so wonderful to see such a talented actress have this opportunity to shine. Her glowing reviews and award nominations are well-deserved
I thought that this movie was awesome!!! It was funny and cute and touching!!! I loved it!!!
A great romantic comedy by Jack & Diane. I think both of them work fanstastically good in this show. And I never knew Jack has such a magnetic voice for singing while Diane still holds such a great figure...
There is no need to say to much go see for yourself you will enjoy the Hilarity that insues beween Jack Nichalson and Diane Keaton. This is the reason the 2 of them are nominated for Golden Globes for this movie.
This movie is a definite crowd-pleaser. It even works for guys who hate romantic comedies! Excellent gift for those of you who are not sure what to get your mom for Mother's Day yet!!
I think Diane, Jack and Keanu are great but the movie was just okay. I was a little sick watching Jack and Diane in the bed...I also thought the move dragged on-
Can't wait to have my own dvd of this movie.. I'm glad I was able to see it! after which, can't help but thinking even a month after!!!!
This is an incredible movie. Diane Keaton is a wonderful, incredibly gifted actress, and so are the rest of the cast. (Especially Frances McDormand.)
I was skeptical of Jack Nicholson's role in the movie at first but Boy was it great to be proven wrong.. Diane Keaton was phenomenal.. the whole movie had great ambience and you could feel the intensity of it.
Diane, Jack, Keanu and Fran gave outstanding performances in this wonderful movie. After seeing the movie, I purchased the DVD and I have literally watched this movie EVERY DAY since I purchased it. Sometimes twice a day on the weekends. My favorite scene from the DVD is Scene 23... when Zoe invites Julian over to cheer up Erica after Harry rejects her. The song played during their dinner is so cute(wish I could find it in the stores) and the kiss that Julian gives Erica (when he is forgiving her)is so sexy! He could forgive me any day! What a great movie!
I have never understood the reviewers who say this movie is too long. It really didn't feel long to me at all. Acting was superb, humor was a treat, and the storyline was interesting...loved it!
