I remember the television series, this is the updated version and I enjoyed it. The movie was slow moving and methodical, even predictable. He helped the underdog and came out an unknown but satisfied hero. The action scenes were on the sedate side but I liked watching Denzel Washington play the hero, gentleman, and humanitarian. We need more people like him and his character.
