I loved this movie when it first came out. The casting was awesome! Micheal Keaton and Marissa Tormae worked so well together. One of Ron Howard's best. I have watched it several times since I got the DVD.

This was an over-looked gem when it hits theatres, and what a shame. Howard nails the pace and beat of New York City with great flair. The characters are wonderful and it almost feels like you've been watching them on some sit-com for years. Keaton and Quaid's buddy reporters are hilarious, but it's Duvall and Close that steal the show. The film has such a fantastic pulse to it that you've got to see it to feel it.
