Overview

Kiersten White’s New York Times bestselling Paranormalcy trilogy comes to a breathless conclusion with a signature mix of wit, romance, paranormal creatures, and a truly original heroine.

In Endlessly, pink-loving, butt-kicking Evie has way too much on her to-do list. Paranormals are begging her to open a faerie gate so they can leave the human world, something Evie’s not sure she has the power to do. The Dark Queen is torturing humans and must be destroyed.

On top of all that, Evie’s prom is coming up. She’s not sure what to wear, and, oh, yeah, her shape-shifting boyfriend, Lend, has been cursed so that he falls into an enchanted sleep whenever he and Evie are in the same room…and even Evie’s ex-boyfriend, the faerie Reth, can’t reverse the dark magic.

An epic battle is looming, and the choices Evie makes will determine the fate of whole paranormal world—and her own life.

Kiersten White

Kiersten White is the New York Times bestselling author of the Paranormalcy trilogy, Mind Games, and The Chaos of Stars. Although originally meant to be about a femme fatale, the Mind Games series quickly turned into a story about two sisters and impossible choices. *Sigh* I am so bleeping sad that the Paranormalcy Trilogy is over. I was lucky enough to obtain an ARC of ENDLESSLY through my agent Michelle Wolfson's Wolf Pack ARC Tour. But the fact that Kiersten is an agency sister plays no bearing on my delight in reading ENDLESSLY and my disappointment that it's over.

I am going to miss Evie and all the characters in her paranormal world. They were unique and I know that they will never come my way again. :(

What else did I love about this book and all the books in the trilogy? I adore Kiersten's humor for starters. I always find myself laughing at her quirky bleeping way with words and her creativity. Her take on the paranormal world is delightful. And my favorite thing about the books? It's easy to fall into the trap of thinking that Kiersten writes fluff, because it's just so much fun to read, but if you're paying attention, she has depth and layers to what she shares with her audience. She gives deep thoughts and guidance in a way that is never patronizing. She doesn't talk down to her readers--she wins them over and is a role model through her characters. I mean--who wouldn't want to grow up to be just like Evie. And I'm not just saying that because I want a pink taser!

Without a doubt, ENDLESSLY comes to a fulfilling end, but I may never stop asking Kiersten to whisper in my ear about what happens to Evie in five, ten, twenty years--she's become a friend and I don't want to let her go.

Congratulations, Kiersten--You've done a fantastic job. Can't wait to read your next book. <3

If you haven't read this series you need to. It's fun! Evie is now a senior in high school and living the dream. She has wanted to be a "normal" teenager for a long time, and now she can be. Of course we know better; Evie's life never seems to stay normal for long.

I love this final installment of the trilogy. The story and Evie's life come full circle. I love the reappearances of all our favorite guys. Lend, Reth, and Jack all come back for this finale. Reth is such a complicated character, and I love him for it. Is he good? Is he bad? It's hard to ever know. Lend is as sweet and perfect as ever. I enjoy all the scenes with Evie and one of these three guys. The banter is laugh out loud funny!

Evie is still sarcastic, sassy, and fun. Her attitude comes across disrespectful and annoying at times, but that's just the way she deals with her problems. She takes it out on those around her. Thankfully she lived and learned.

A fantastic end to this paranormal trilogy!

One of my favorite things about this whole series is that the voice is so amazing. You get this great, sarcastic, funny teenager who is just full of personality. This book inspires me to write better voice in my own writing. Through the story Evie meets a lot of different paranormal characters and creatures. I love that none of her fantasies about them are true. I love even more that Kiersten White had a deeper reason for doing that besides just being funny. It’s one of the few YA books that is funny but has heart, too.

The paranormal romance is done so well. Kiersten even pulls off the love triangle. How did she make Reth 100% creepy but totally sexy at the same time?? A couple chapters into the book, conflict comes knocking down the door (plus the whole neighborhood, too, if I’m being honest). I did not see that coming. My first thought was “Whoa. **it just got real.” And I don’t even swear. This BOOK doesn’t even swear. I have no idea where that thought came from. There was this slight dystopian impression from one of the sub-plots. It wasn’t much – just a little dystopian garnish on your paranormal salad that added a lot of fun and flavor. The conflict is epic but doesn’t take itself too seriously and the ending was oh so satisfying. It was the perfect ending to one of my all time favorite series.

"Endlessly" was the best attachment to this series and the best way to end the whole thing. It made you remember Kiersten White's talent with making her writing funny, and addicting shomehow because it just made you smile, no matter what Evie was going through. This last installment was my favorite of the series because each character found themselves, made ammends, and redeemed their questionable past behavior. Characters that I liked, then didn't, then liked again, won me over completely, and those characters I liked from the very beginning did not disappoint. At the end, I felt sad that the series was over. I did not want it to ever end. And I'm not going to summarize this book because I would do it wrong. There's a lot of redemption in this book, from bad behavior in the past books, like Vivian, Reth, Jack, and pretty much every other character as well. And if you have a grudge against these characters, then the summary will ruin it, because you haven't been won over by them yet. Which would be unfair on many levels.

So then, finally, here's my favorite line/s:

"That's my pretty faerie boy!"..."If you ever address me like that again, I will make that abomination on your head permanent."...I put my fingers up to the brunette wig, horrified. "You wouldn't."..."I suggest you do not attempt to find out."

Brilliant, paranormal writing at its best!

My Rating: 4 out of 5 stars.

Disclaimers: I received a copy of this book from work and was asked to write a review of this novel. This, however, is my informal review.

My overall Thoughts/Impressions: First of all, I squealed when I got this book in the mail. I've been dying to read it. I have absolutely adored this series so far and the cover is simply beautiful and exquisite.

Okay, but now for my review. First off, I went into this novel feeling apprehensive. I've read so many series lately that were fantastic and then ended so poorly. I was anxious to see how White tied all of her loose ends together.

I shouldn't have worried. White's ending was absolutely brilliant and masterfully crafted and the characters are adorable. Lend and Evie...they are both downright amusing and are two characters that I love reading about.
Evie certainly has attitude, but frankly one that I found thoroughly entertaining. And then there's Jack. He is thoroughly entertaining. I also really like Rafe. I probably shouldn't, but he's just so intriguing.

Then there is White's writing style, it is compelling, intriguing, and simply brilliant. I always leave her books a few laughs lighter and thoroughly entertained.

As for this novel, White picked up right where she left off and the novel moved at a fast pace throughout the novel. I found myself eagerly awaiting the ending to see what would happen. In my opinion, she ended the series perfectly. I honestly can't think of any other way she could have ended it.

Fans of this series will eat this one up. It's teenage paranormal fantasy at its best. White's writing style is brilliant and I hope that we see more from her.

In Summary: The perfect conclusion to a captivating series with characters I adored. Definitely recommended. Absolutely lovely.

The Wrap-up: I read this book in one sitting, but was left thoroughly entertained the whole time. I'm so thrilled I got to read this. And like I mentioned earlier, I definitely can't wait to see if White decides to write something else. Recommend this one, especially if you like the first two in this series.

    Love,
    Danica Page

    Better than Hunger Games!

I laughed, I cried then ordered the series for my granddaughter. There's an innocence that charms, and dialog that caused out-loud laughing. It's fast paced and like the best episodes of Buffy the Vampire Slayer gets you thinking while entertaining.

bye Evie, i'll miss you!  i liked this book, a lot.  it was nice to watch Evie grow up and do what's right.  still, Evie's uptight sense of humor still annoyed me, but I guess i kind of love her for it.  that's what makes Evie Evie!  i really loved her and Lend's relationship- they were adorable.  Lend's awesome.  this book was really good and I hope though that Kiersten White's writing does grow and evolve into something mature.  maybe Evie is just immature and that's why her writing turned out that way?  i don't know, i just hope that her writing becomes mature with other novels that she publishes.
this book is still good though, and i highly recommend this cute, fun, series!

This book was probably my favorite out of the three books. This book was more interesting then the second and how in this book Lend is like the most perfect guy any girl would want. How in this book it had some shocking moments and you can't stop reading the book. You would always want to know what happened.

I've been up and down with this series. I loved the first in the series, but the second was only so-so. I was hoping that the last book could be just as good as the first and tie up all the loose ends. I think this did a great job of that.

Evie seems to be more herself in this book. She's doing thing more for herself and she's not trying to run around and save everybody just because everyone tells her that she destined to do so. She may be stubborn about refusing to help, but I don't blame her. Very few people have let Evie be in control of her own destiny. I know she felt manipulated by Reth, but I think showing her the truth was the only way to get her to make a decision.

There's really a lot happening in this story. It's almost enough that it could have been stretch into a 4 book series instead of 3. But, it wraps up nicely and I didn't feel there were any loose ends or lingering questions. I would be curious how Evie's world changed after the events of the story, but its not a question that needs to be answered.

Great ending to the story. If you read the first two, you should definitely read this one. If you haven't read any of them, you should just for Evie and her bad ass attitude and her taser. And of course for Reth and Lend.

(Source: I received a digital copy of this book for free on a read-to-review basis. Thanks to Harper Collins UK and Netgalley.)
This is the third book in the ‘Paranormalcy’ series, and kicks off not long after the end of book 2 – Supernaturally. **Warning – some unavoidable spoilers for books 1 and 2**
Evie is now settling into her normal-ish life, and joining plenty of clubs at school to try to make new friends. Her most pressing problem at the moment is the fact that she can’t convince the winter formal committee to have pink as their theme colour. That is until the new supervisor from IPCA turns up.

Ms Anne-Laurie LeFevre tells Evie that she is now working for IPCA, and not in the informal capacity that she was using last time. Raquel has been ‘reassigned’, and Evie is in trouble again.

Before she knows it, Evie is locked up in one of the iron clad cells at IPCA, Raquel is on trial for something, and the fairies are knocking on Evie’s door wanting their ‘Empty one’ back.

As things quickly get worse, Lend ends up comatose whenever Evie is in the same room, Reth seems to be fading away, and Evie just doesn’t know what to do with the dark fairies who want her back.
Can Evie save Raquel? Can she break the curse on Lend? And can she sort out the fairies without losing her soul in the process?

This was a great final instalment, and the author actually manages to quite nicely wrap up most of the loose ends!

Evie was a joy as usual, so normal, but funny and intelligent at the same time. She continues to try and help everybody, and her love for her friends and boyfriend is so sweet. Her loyalty doesn’t waver, and she always blames herself, even when things are totally out of her control.

I never really had much of a thing for Lend, even though Evie loves him, but Reth – the fairy that loves Evie and has plotted to make her his eternally, totally steals my heart in every book. Even though he’s bad, he’s a bad boy that I personally can’t resist. Evie must be a little crazy in my mind to choose Lend over Reth, but each to their own.

There are once again loads of different paranormals in this book, and the not-so-lovely unicorns make another appearance, along with the vampires, werewolves, sprites etc.

The ending tied up most of the loose ends very neatly, although aside from the few twists in the turn, you could probably have guess how this would all end after reading the second book.

Overall; a great end to the series.
    8 out of 10.
