Fr Barron has written this book in an easy to read, almost conversational style that aids the reader in understanding a complex subject.  He avoids much of the jargon common to many theologians, yet the subject isn't "dumbed down" in any way.  In fact, Fr Baron includes biblical references, includes translations and meanings from the original Greek and Hebrew, incorporates thoughts from the Church Fathers, and refers to and discusses arguments from Christians and scholars.
The book is good for anyone who is searching for a deeper understanding of this sacred meal and sacrifice.  Chapter 3, "If It's Only a Symbol, To Hell with It" is worth reading on its own, let alone the image and information dense preceding chapters.
Like a good movie, I am looking forward to reading the book again to catch what I missed the first time through.
