Overview

Pre-teens and teens often hit a point in their walk with God where they start asking the "tough" questions. One thing parents and teachers often do is tr to answer all their questions and guide them intellectually. While this is helpful for some, most young teens just need to connect with God. They need the answers straight from Him.
By developing their own prayer life, praying the scriptures on topics that are applicable to the deep issues of their soul, God fills their heart as only He can.
These topics on identity in Christ were chosen through prayer specifically for pre-teens and teenagers. The journaling guide directs teens to read, write, and pray the verses. The back section of the book is a journaling area for them to draw and write what is in their heart and mind as they are absorbing the scriptures.

Through the reading and hearing of the Word, faith is built up. When the voices and messages of the world around us seem so loud, we need faith to believe God's Word is true, and what He says about us, is the real truth.

As a parent or leader, you should be able to see a progression in how they view their identity in God the more they spend in the Word and journaling what God is saying to them.
