Editorial Reviews

Breathe in Books - Krista Loya
"The use of Celtic mythology is refreshing... Ms. Johnson uses her knowledge to weave a beautiful story of love, friendship, and legend. Only once before had I ever heard of the Morrigan, the Celtic goddess of war. The atmosphere that the author created was eerie and haunting and the creatures were truly disturbing. The ending left me breathless!" - Review for Faelorehn

Meet the Author

ELLE CASEY is an American writer who lives in Southern France with her husband, three kids, Hercules the wonder poodle, and Monie the bouvier. In her spare time she writes women's fiction and young adult novels (you can find her Women's Fiction work under the pen name Kat Lee.)

TARA MAYA has lived in Africa, Europe and Asia. She's pounded sorghum with mortar and pestle in a little clay village where the jungle meets the desert, meditated in a Buddhist monastery in the Himalayas and sailed the Volga river to a secret city that was once the heart of the Soviet space program. This first-hand experience, as well as research into the strange and piquant histories of lost civilizations, inspires her writing.

JL BRYAN studied English literature at the University of Georgia and at Oxford, with a focus on the English Renaissance and the Romantic period. He enjoys remixing elements of paranormal, supernatural, fantasy, horror and science fiction into new kinds of stories.

ANTHEA SHARP spent most of her childhood summers raiding the library shelves and reading, especially fantasy. She now makes her home in the Pacific Northwest, where she writes, plays the fiddle, and spends time with her small-but-good family.

JENNA ELIZABETH JOHNSON grew up and still resides on the Central Coast of California, and has a degree in Art Practice with an emphasis in Celtic Studies from the University of California at Berkeley. She draws much of her insight from the myths and legends of ancient Ireland to help set the theme for her books.

ALEXIA PURDY currently lives in Las Vegas, Nevada–Sin City! She loves to spend every free moment writing or playing with her four rambunctious kids. Writing has always been her dream and she has been writing ever since she can remember. She loves writing paranormal fantasy and poetry and devours books daily.

While I have read the first tWo books of the six in this series and found both writers to be very good there is something wrong with the programming on this book it takes up to a minute just to turn the page don't know if I will read the rest of the series

I've only read the first two novels, and I liked the first one but it wasn't really my type of book. If you like fae, war type stuff it's for you. I really enjoyed the second one though. A  lot of  mature language but very interesting. The ending was amazing and I want the next book very badly. Just started the third book and it looks good.....

I love a good paranormal / sci/fi read, but I have read the first two and was very disappointed that so far they seem to be incomplete stories. The first book stopped so abruptly in the middle of the story that I checked to make sure my Nook was not malfunctioning. After checking on line I realized this was the first of 12 novels. Each costing $6 to finish the story line. The second sort of finished the story, but left one of the main characters out of the loop. Not a very satisfying ending. Not sure if I'm willing to finish reading the boxed set. Too OCD to leave the open ends.

1st book: Amazing. I will finish this series after reading the collection. 2nd book: I refuse to finish the collection until after I finish this series. I am still reading the 2nd book's series, but this collection of books is recommened. BTW, I am an 11 year old almost 6th grader who is going to pass out under the mounds of books I just bought. I LOVE 2 READ! Some people say I read to much! Anyway, this collection is a favorite of mine!

Each story is a good beginning in a series. Just enough to give a taste to encourage one t;o want to read the other books in a series. I do recommend anyone who might like this kind of story so they can decide if it is something they might like to read more.

Three of the stories were really good and two were blah. I enjoyed the three good ones.

Though this bundle was a good value, I really did not enjoy any of the books included - the plot of heroine meets boy got very tiring.

I have read books 1 - 3 in this set. The books are all good but are not keeping my focus as much as some other writers like Dannika Dark, Morgan Rice and Kate Danley. I'll see what the last 2 writers stories are like.

Upgrading my review upon finishing War of the Fae #1. Good story good characters. Could be great with some changes. Swearing is excessive and detracts. Plus limits the appropriate audience... could be great YA or teen book but not with the crude language. Also the team characters could be developed better and why does Jaynee have the only powers? Still this is a magical land and story.. I will probably read further in the series. Flashes of LOTR ...this author has some real magic to offer.
