Finally, someone who is a REAL person talking about REAL weight loss! In this retelling of the weight loss process, Ms. Benson shows her real struggle with all it entail to get that weight off. It's inspiring to say the least and an absolute must read!!

"I bought this to give to a family member who is a Weight Watchers lifetime member, but wanted to read it before giving it to him. I'm amazed at her story! OMG what this girl went through. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry! I'm keeping it and getting a second copy to send. Great tips! Love the artichoke dip! It's very real and motivational."

As a veteran dieter, I even learned something by reading this book. Kim Benson has been there and knows what she is talking about. The best part of the book was the fact that she did not recomment a particular diet program as as it is called today a particular eating program. She gave advice as to how to lose weight and keep it off in the real world. Keep up the good work Kim.

I love the way Kim writes - with humor, truth, and honesty - about events in her life that led to her successful weight loss journey and maintenance program. This book is informative, motivational, helpful and perfect for anyone looking to make a healthy lifestyle change, either for the 1st time or for the 100th time! I will definitely keep this book close by me so that I can pick it up for a big dose of extra motivation whenever whenever I need it. Kim's journey is an true inspiration and a great reminder that this life style change is SO WORTH THE JOURNEY and to NEVER GIVE UP ON YOUR OWN JOURNEY of a healthy lifestyle change.

This book is priceless! Kim is so real and down to earth in her storytelling. Those of us who are FAT know the challenges that we face and would never talk about. Kim includes all of her feelings and situations and how she dealt with them. Such an encouragement! THEN I got to the section on types of eating plans, etc. Her information is very accurate and packed full of facts that make sense. I read a lot of books on nutrition last year and Kim includes enough information to get the job done but not so much that the reading gets boring. Every page is useful. The recipes are great! If you are looking for help to lose weight or know of someone who struggles to lose weight - BUY this book and READ it. Practical ideas to get started, grocery lists for shopping - it's all in there. I am determined to change my eating lifestyle now and not diet.

After reading reviews, thought this was going to be something unique. I did not find it to be, however. Have heard it all before. An overweight woman who tries everything to lose the pounds finally hits on the "right thing" and reaches her weight loss goal. Been there, done that. Not a bad book, there is just nothing that special about her story. Sorry, can't recommend it.

This is a great motivating book. Just reading about how others lost weight and kept it off helps me so much to understand how I can do it. This author really struggled and I thank her for being brave enough to share her story.

Having struggled with my weight for years, I totally enjoyed Kim and her story. She writes like she is talking personally to you. I have followed her web site and achievments, how great for someone to take control of how they feel about themselves and reach out to others. People who are overweight need stories like hers to give them a positive role model. Someone who has kept the weight off, is not a movie star or someone rich and famous with everything at their finger tips to get them thinner, is refreshing.
