    Classic old school Realms!

This book is truley a classic style of the old school tsr books. I am so happy to see the back collections finally in ebook. This is a great intro to the light hearted Danilo Thann. His appearance here keeps it light and fun. It may be a bit corny at a very few times but it truley immerses sp? You in realms lore. A must read to set up for the even better sequals. A great book for old diehards of the old , and in my mind true realms, or for those just getting to know Toril.

    Elfshadow: A book of genius

For those who read the books of the 'Forgotten Realms' they can tell when they come across a good book. Elaine Cunningham shows in this wonderful book how you can weave the threads of fantasy, mystery and a bit of humor into a beautiful masterpiece. This book will keep you 'on the edge of your seat'. I would recommend this book to anyone who loves a good mystery.

the outstanding adventures with Arylin and Danilo made me read on.

I read this book strait through with no sleep. After reading it I went on and bought the rest of the series. The way Elaine Cunningham makes these characters seem so real is intreging. I handed the book to my grandmother who rarely reads, and asked her to read it. She read the first 3 chapters and couldn't put it down.

    Fun, Easy Read

This is the first book by Elaine Cunningham that I read so I can not compare it to others in the series. I admit that this is the not the best fantasy book as in words and descriptions. But as plot it is rather new (not the usual unlucky hero against incredebly powerful evils and warlocks). It also has a bit of a mystery side to it which is new and refreshing. Unlike many other novels, which are nice, fun but not interesting enough to get you to read the next book in the series, Elfshadow always forces you to want to know more and more about the characters (which are very well developed.) This is overall a good book if you want a light read just to relax.

    Quite good

It was my first 'Forgotten realms' book, and I thought it is boring and unoriginal, but I was wrong.I am still surprised how original and exciting book it is!I strongly recommend this book, especially to fantasy fans.

    Amazing

Wonderful book, I couldn't stop reading it. With a fantasy based story-line, the characters are so diverse you have to love it. The couragous Arilyn keeps you guessing, and the hilarious Danilo keeps you laughing. Highly recommended!!

Action Adventure, the usual but with those little twists and turns

The story starts when someone tries to frame a Harper agent named Arilyn. To accomplish this they begin to kill Harpers that are near to Arilyn. Eventually she catches them but i won't spoil the story. Just the right amount of action. the battle scenes were extremly well written. She has 2 ofthe most interesting characters I have ever encountered.Danillo was the best.

A thrilling book full of action and laughs!

Arilyn Moonblade is one of the best characters I've read about! Her own personal story and the adventures she gets into in all of Cunninham's books are riveting! Danilo Thann has to be one of the all time best characters though. If he was real, I could easily have fallen for him! I couldn't put this book down and at times I was laughing out loud! These characters really evolve throughout the next few books in the series. I highly recommend reading them all!!! Enjoy!
