    Clear and easily understood.

I purchased and read it in preparation for seeing Jude Law on Broadway as Hamlet at the Broadhurst Theater in NYC November 2009. Sparks Notes did the trick in enabling me to understand the play in greater depth than possible just walking in off the street. Runs through Dec 6. Go see it and read the Sparks notes first if you do not have time to read the original Shakespeare.

Great way for reluctant or low readers to enjoy Hamlet

I used this book with a high school class of very low and reluctant readers with great success. They enjoyed the illustrations and were able to summarize each act. Some of the students even did their own illustrations in summary.
It made the Shakespeare Unit enjoyable for all rather than a time both my students and I could not wait to get through. Some of the students even asked to read other Shakespeare plays in this format.
