Rather dissappointed. This could have been a full length in depth story...instead short, rushed and lacking. Good story but could have been better...only 78 pages fyi

This is a pretty good story but wish it would have been longer with more of a story line. Its really just the story of girl meets vampire boy. If it would have been 100 more pages long and really developed the people it would have been an awsome story. Its a good price but we warned its just 100 pages...

Great short story...for only 79 pages Frost managed to develop the characters, storyline, and heated romance just fine. Bones fans get a brief glimpse of him, although I would love to see more on Chance. Also, I dont get the complaints about 'short stories' being short....that is kind of the point! Better a well written short story at under 100 pages than a crappy novel at 1000 pages.

This book occurs during the time of Bones separation from Cat. Bones only appears briefly though. The hero steps in to honor a request from his sire. The heroine, is an unwilling fiancee to a mobster, and the adventure begins. The usual humor, doubt, and battles ensue. But, as usual, I enjoyed it from beginning to end. Hope you do too.

This novella was a good read, but not as exciting as the Cat and Bones series I adore. The tension between Chance and Isa wasn't really there, but I think it was just because a lot of plot had to happen in just 76 pages. It was a good read, however; just not what I was hoping for!

It's a good story, although I think a full length novel would have been delightful. I wasn't quite ready for the abrupt ending. I prefer a little more about the "happily ever after". *smile* Definitely a great introduction to this author.

I love Jeannine Frost The Huntress Series her characters Cat & Bones are great.
As for this book I thought it was ok not to much depth to the story.
