Five dishonored soldiers.
Former Special Forces.
One last mission.
These are the men of Hard Ink.

Beckett Murda hates to dwell on the past. But his investigation into the ambush that killed half his Special Forces team and ended his Army career gives him little choice. Just when his team learns how powerful their enemies are, hard-ass Beckett encounters his biggest complication yet—a seductive, feisty Katherine Rixey.

A tough, stubborn prosecutor, Kat visits her brothers' Hard Ink Tattoo shop following a bad break-up—and finds herself staring down the barrel of a stranger's gun. Beckett is hard-bodied and sexy as hell, but he's also the most infuriating man ever. Worse, Kat's brothers are at war with the criminals her office is investigating. When Kat joins the fight, she lands straight in Beckett's sights . . . and in his arms. Not to mention their enemies' crosshairs. Now Beckett and Kat must set aside their differences to work together, because the only thing sweeter than justice is finding love and never letting go.

Investigating the betrayal of his Special Forces A-Team, Beckett Murda knows he shouldn't give in to his sizzling attraction to Kat Rixey, his teammate's sister who's way too good for him, but tensions are high, sex is a good release, and risk is second nature. Department of Justice attorney Katherine Rixey is seeking refuge for a few days from a relationship gone bad when she discovers her brother and his betrayed Special Forces team are investigating an overseas ambush that saw half of them dead and the rest blamed for the events and dishonorably discharged. Jumping in to help where she can, Kat finds the prickly Beckett hard to get along with, but the heat between them is palpable. As danger ratchets up and attacks come at her and the team, she and Beckett give in to their sexual desire and share the hottest sex she's ever experienced. At first determined to keep their liaison a secret, they both re-evaluate when they discover they have feelings for each other, but with the investigation hitting a critical point, it's a complicated time to begin a relationship. And the more Kat learns about the key suspects, the more she realizes she has access to privileged information that can help, if she's willing to compromise her professional integrity. As the team closes in on villains at the highest levels of the military and the private security sector, Kat's own private enemy will track her down and threaten the whole operation—and as strong as Beckett is, he may not be able to protect her, even as he realizes he can't be happy without her. Kaye wraps up her bestselling series with this action-packed story, highlighting her talent for alpha military heroes, hot romance, and an ensemble cast of characters who are unique and engaging. A supersexy, high-octane romantic suspense novel that concludes the popular Hard Ink series in a completely satisfying way.

6 stars! My heart is exploding! I loved this so freaking much. So fantastic, from beginning to end. I was caught up with the drama and passion of the overall story and with Kat and Beckett’s story. Kat and Beckett were awesome. They had that fight to them, like magnets that can't stay apart. I loved their bickering and attitude. Kat was so great. Laura Kaye writes the best female leads. I love that they are strong and passionate and really stand up for themselves. And Beckett, he was this strong silent man through all the books and I always liked him but I was in love with him by 10% in this one. Learning about his past and why he was the way he was was heartbreaking. Them together was just unbelievable hot. So much sexual tension and when they come together, um, WOW! I am pretty sure this is the hottest book in the Hard Ink series. There has been this mystery that has been taking place throughout the entire series and I was on the edge of my seat absorbing every detail. Tons of intensity, it was action packed. Seriously someone make these into movies! Everything was amazing with all the detail and visual imagery, the build, and how it all came together. By the epilogue I was a teary eyed - and extremely happy - mess. Incredible conclusion to the series! I thought Marz was my favorite but gotta say, it's Beckett. That man has my heart! Laura Kaye created this elaborate and detailed world where everything around me just slipped away. It was everything I could have asked for. These soldiers, brothers, and friends, are just a great mix of personalities and I love their comradery and connection with each other and the women they have come to love. Reading this was like coming home and I hated to say goodbye. There was just so much emotion mixed in with everything, it was just perfect. I can't begin to say enough good things about this story or series to do it justice. It was everything I wanted and Iove. It was all so exciting! A must read, for real. Edge of your seat stuff people. Loved it. Complimentary copy received for honest review.

5 - "I've never been the kind of man who believed in dreams... That wasn't the hand I got dealt." Stars! This book, as well as the series as a whole is another outstanding example of why I love Laura Kaye’s work. It is hard to believe that the whole series encompasses approximately one month in the lives of the characters it involves. Beckett and Katherine’s story is told around the climax of the whole Church Gang / Seneka Worldwide Security investigation, as well as Nick, Marz, Shane and Easy trying to clear their own names and military records in the process, with a lot of help from the women they have met and fell in love with, Charlie Merritt, Jeremy Rixey and the Raven Riders MC. ”Dude. I am so not the one with the problem.” The chemistry has been bubbling between Beckett and Kat since she turned up at Hard Ink unannounced, after pulling a gun on her for thinking she was an intruder, their relationship has been one of sarcasm, snark and winding each other up at every opportunity ever since. As with all the previous books, Beckett like his team mates before him, is struggling with the mental and physical after-effects of the mission in Afghanistan that saw him lose pretty much everything that was important to him. Their careers, their brothers-in-arms and their reputations. They all carried a little dose of messed up around with them.” I liked Kat as well, strong, confident and prepared to do anything and everything she can to help her brothers and their partners, not to mention the rest of the team go forward to live a life without threat and fear hanging over them. This couple together, full on steam coming off my Kindle hot! "That won't be the last time you come down my throat... And this won't be the only time you come on my cLock." Beckett opening up to Kat and the team about his past, the repercussions of what went down in Afghanistan on him on a personal level, and his gradual realization that he is a person who is deserving of love, a life and a future with someone by his side… 'Maybe he was meant to float through life – unattached, unfeeling, unwanted.' Absolutely. Outstanding. It wasn’t really a surprise though, because Laura has dealt with every one of the issues these guys have been dealing with, whether it be mental, physical or a mixture of the both with absolute respect and when reading, what feels like thorough research and understanding. ”Don’t let me hurt you. Never let me hurt you, Angel. Promise me.” You need to have read all of the previous books to really understand just how good this series is. The overall plot and how it grows and branches out, the gradual inclusion and depth of development of all of the characters into the storyline, the secondary characters relevance, everyone’s back-stories and the ultimate finale, the pace and how everything comes to pass are just another example as to why I love this authors work. Although the Hard Ink series is fully drawn to a finish in this one, with a pretty spectacular and emotional epilogue, Laura has definitely left the door open for these guys… The bridging novella Hard As Steel that takes us from this to the Raven Riders MC series is due in September 15, but as an avid stalker… I mean fan!! It looks like we might be revisiting the Rixeys and the rest of the Hard Ink family again in 2016 – ”Wherever our paths lead, you are my family. No matter what.” ARC generously provided by the publisher via Edelweiss, and it was my absolute pleasure to provide

## Loved this conclusion of the Hard Ink Series. This book doesn't stand alone; I recommend that you read at least book 1 of the series (Nick's story) so you aren't lost. Of course, reading all of them would be best. This hero "Beckett" was so hot, I'm still reeling. God, I would love a Beckett of my very own. And Kat was amazing, too. So feisty, smart and beautiful. These two had a fantastic connection. And kudos to the author for answering all our questions and tying everything up in the epilogue. What a nice reward for your loyal fans. Will definitely read again.

Hard to Let Go is an incredible, action filled, hot and steamy, special forces romance experience. The antagonizing relationship between Kate and Beckett is about to come to a head and so is the war between Hard Ink and the mastermind that destroyed their military careers. Both highly volatile situations; both making for marvelous reads; combine them you have a 5 star tale to inhale! How apropos is this title, Hard to Let Go? It is truly a series I didn't want to see end. Kaye masterfully wraps up this storyline but manages to work in every character you’ve come to love in for one major hurrah. So, sit back, make yourself comfortable and enjoy because this action infused story, in and out of the bedroom, is sure to keep you riveted. ✦Release Blitz, Review & Giveaway: Hard to Let Go: A Hard Ink Novel by Laura Kaye http://wp.me/p3d0RZ-2Fl Publication Date: June 30, 2015 Genre: Contemporary Romance/ Romantic Suspense Reviewed by: Reading In Pajamas/ Donna Rated: 5 Stars REVIEW: I loved this installment in the Hard Ink Series! I wasn’t sure how Beckett’s story would turn out, but wow, it surpassed my expectations. The ongoing mystery and danger to the Hard Ink group was amplified by other forces impacting Kat and Beckett so that the story exploded page by page. The Hard Ink group is a cohesive, wise-cracking team that makes you laugh one minute and melts your heart the next. I grew to love them throughout the series but this book ratcheted it up to a whole new level. Kate and Beckett made such a perfect pair and I loved how their sexy and touching journey played out amid all the chaos. The writing was smooth, scorching hot and oh so heart rendering that I could not put it down. Literally. I read it through in one sitting because I knew I would not sleep until it was done. The best part is that the ending opened the door to so many possibilities for future books and I can’t wait to read them all. *Review copy provided by Edelweiss in exchange for an honest review.

Laura Kaye has been building a story in the Hard Ink series that reaches its dramatic conclusion in the fourth book of the Hard Ink series, HARD TO LET GO. I was so excited when Kat Rixey entered the series and could not wait for Beckett to meet his match. Lo and behold, these two are a sexy powerhouse couple and their love story was the perfect and natural next step in the series! I loved how everything continued to develop until the explosive moment when everything that has been building throughout the series finally clicks into place. This series is one for the books and a series that romance lovers will want to read! As with each new romantic plot line in this series, we have two characters who are perfect for each other. Kat and Beckett are both strong willed, filled with determination to see this mission through to the end. They are both passionate about what they are doing in their own unique ways. I loved getting to delve into these two characters and learn more of what makes them tick. Beckett has been a strong pillar throughout the entire series. He has been shrouded in mystery and I was so excited to finally get a glimpse into his brain, to understand why he reacts the way he does, and what his past was like. Learning even more of who he is under the surface made me love him even more. His silent brooding personality took on a whole new meaning, one I appreciated and respected. Kat has been mentioned before in the series and I always wondered what the Rixey sister would be like. Nick and Jeremy are so different from each other and I wondered where their sister would fall on the spectrum. Kat is confident, smart, and beautiful with a take charge attitude. Her love of family is equal to her love of justice and doing what is right. I loved seeing more of her personality and understanding where she comes from. When you put these two head strong characters together things can be explosive- in both a good and a bad way. Their chemistry is off the charts and their passion has the ability to burn. These two could destroy one another or create a powerhouse that will change the direction of the series. I loved getting to see more of the mystery unfold in this book. Throughout the entire series I have been trying to piece together what is happening and where the truth lies, playing detective alongside the team. The epic conclusion has been building for so long and everything seems to continue to twist and turn till the very end. With the addition of Kat’s resources and knowledge, the team is able to make headway into what happened and what needs to take place. There is a good amount of mystery, adrenaline, and excitement woven through the pages of this book! I loved seeing how things escalated and the direction the team went to find the truth. This story is the perfect conclusion to the series. I loved Kat and Beckett’s love story but I think it was made even better by the overall conclusion of the story the stretches across the entire series!

I am so sad to see this series end! I loved Beckett Murad and Kat Rixey's love story. A war vet who has suffered abuse by a father who was cruel and evil. Kat trying to protect herself from a stalker while dealing with this war of that is putting her family in danger. Loved this story! A must read!

This is Beckett and Kat's story !! And wow what a story this is. Kat came to her brothers Nick and Jeremy's place right when it was being bombed to the ground. She has no idea really, what is going on but she is in it up to her neck. She is carrying a secret of her own though and she feels it daily with the bruises on her arms. Beckett is one of the guys who never really wanted anything long term with anyone until he meets Nick's sister Kat. Then everything changes. Kat is in danger along with the rest of the team but she is also in danger in another way. Can Beckett save her? What will happen to the guys this time around? Will anyone be left standing? Wow what a story this was I literally found myself crying this story kept me reading until I finished the entire story in one setting. We get our mystery, suspense and wow the passion between the couples just pops. However, we get heartbreak too. Laura Kaye has written another fantastic story for the men who were dishonored by their country. All I can say is its one hell of a story and have your Kleenex box nearby. I was gifted a copy of this book for my honest review

Awesome ending to a fabulous series! Make sure you have tissues for this one. If you’ve been following this series than you already know that each of the men of Hard Ink carry some deep secret that in some manner eats away at them and for most, it stems from what happened to them when their commander and fellow members of their A-team unit were killed on a rural road in Afghanistan. For Beckett Murda there is more than the guilt of having survived, and his best friend sacrificing his leg to save his life…for Beckett, his torture goes deeper and stronger than anyone imagined. As if Shane’s guilt over his sister’s disappearance and Easy’s confession to the team of thoughts of suicide wasn’t enough to crush my heart and bring tears to my eyes, Beckett’s pain goes back to his childhood. Kat Rixey is certainly as tough and as smart as her brothers are but when an ex-boyfriend gets too rough with her, she heads to where she knows she will be safe even if she doesn’t disclose why. She and Beckett immediately butt heads. Not even sure that she likes the tall, dark, handsome, and silent type represented by the over-protective linebacker who pointed a gun at her the first time he saw her, she can’t ignore the draw she feels toward him even as she keeps her own secrets. From the very beginning of this series, I kept hoping Beckett Murda would get his happily-ever-after ending too because I could somehow feel that inside that big, burly, scarred, and menacing looking exterior there was a teddy bear of a man lurking inside. I was so right and I couldn’t be happier for Beckett and Kat. There story is steamy hot, heart-wrenching, edge of the seat action-packed, and sexy has hell! What’s revealed in this story is not only the end of the investigation that has threatened all of those at Hard Ink, but also the dark secrets Beckett has kept hidden deep within him. Secrets he had not even dared tell his best friend, Derek Marza. I honestly thought that Laura couldn’t make my heart ache for one of her characters more than it ached for the pain Easy Cantrell was carrying, but I lost count of how many times I cried while reading HARD TO LET GO. I don’t think I was a third of the way through the book before Beckett had in me in tears. Can a story get any more amazing? Yes, it can. I’m not going to give away details, I’m not going to spoil it for anyone because I want everyone to read this book and this series, if you haven’t already. Yeah, I have to admit that everything happens in a very short amount of time. The characters fall in love unrealistically fast but hey, it’s romance and it’s fiction so I highly recommend suspending reality and indulging in the world of Hard Ink. This group of characters will keep you smiling, laughing, gasping, clinging to the edge of your seat, crying, fanning yourself, and falling in love. HARD TO LET GO, book four of the Hard Ink series by Laura Kaye is the perfect ending to an amazing mission and the best happily-ever-after that could ever be conjured for an amazing group of characters who only deserve the best that love can bring them. I highly recommend HARD TO LET GO by Laura Kaye because it’s JUST THAT GOOD and shouldn’t be missed by anyone who loves strong, charismatic characters, a great storyline, and feeling as if you’re part of the team, and falling in love right alongside Beckett and Kat. ***eARC provided by publisher via Edelweiss in exchange for an honest and unscripted review.

This was the perfect ending to a perfect series. I've read each of the Hark Ink books and really hoped that the series would wrap up nicely. It exceeded my expectations. If you've read the rest of the books you'll know the basic plot and I can tell you that everything gets resolved nicely and happily. I won't say how until you read the book, but Happily Ever After comes to all. After learning all about Becket's teammates it was nice to finally know his story. While his story isn't as harsh as some of the others he still has his issues and he is sexy. Kat is the sister of Nick and Jeremy. Both are protective of her, and Nick is extremely so. She's his baby sister and he needs control. Protecting her gives him control. From the first time Kat appeared in the Hard Ink Series there was tension between her and Becket. Obviously we all know now that when there's tension there are usually sparks. The two don't have a history together, but they're chemistry draws them together from day one. Hard to Let Go is their story. When finally alone neither can control the sparks and they both jump each other. It's instant, uncontrollable lust. Neither is looking for a relationship. Kat is just getting out of a somewhat abusive relationship and Becket has some issues from his past that he's dealing with. But the attraction the two feel is one that can't be ignored. The two try to hide their relationship, but eventually it gets out. I loved these characters, as I've loved all of the characters in this series. Even though I can't always relate to some of their issues/problems, Laura Kaye writes these books and characters in a way that makes everyone feel for them and immerse themselves in the story. She's a great writer. I give Hard to Let Go FIVE STARS!!!!

I am so sad to see the Hard Ink Series by Laura Kaye come to an end. I have loved every one of the Hard Ink stories and I feel like I am one of the team after reading them all. I love how different each love story has been with this series while following the common plot between them all. In Hard to Let Go, we get to read about Beckett and Kat. Their story is explosive. Their passion for one another as well as their short tempers makes for an interesting romance. It kept me turning pages, along with the team unraveling more information to get closer to solving the series-long mystery. If you have not read this series, you really need to read it in order, so I suggest you go back to the beginning and read Hard As it Gets. Hard to Let Go definitely made me squirm at the insanely hot intimate scenes but also had me in tears at a few heartbreaking scenes. The pacing is great, however there was a scene or two where I wanted to tell Beckett and Kat to keep their pants on and get on with what else is happening around them (they do enjoy their sexy time together). Beckett and Kat each had their own internal struggles that added another layer to this book. I was so happy for both of them when they finally trusted each other enough to let the other one in. As with all the other Hard Ink books I love being with the team and learning new information to help clear their names after their dishonorable discharge from the Army that also killed many teammates. Hard to Let Go is a fantastic romantic suspense that forces the reader to turn pages and holds you captive until the very end. I highly recommend you give it a read!

This was probably the best series I've ever read. It had everything from mystery, to romance, to action. I enjoyed all the different personalities and struggles of each character. You either identified with or know someone who can identify with each of them. I'm 100% sure I'll be reading this series again really soon. It was that good!

Although this is the last in the series, it is the first one I read. It just popped up in my library, and it was an absolutely great read. I will be reading the rest of this series. There was so much texture and depth in this story about, Beckett the tormented soul, and Kat the tough lawyer, who was also Nick's sister. Made me a bit weepy at times. Looking forward to reading the rest of the stories of the special forces guys that made this series so good. Suspense and romance are my two favorite storylines, and together they are a great combination.
