This story is a near mystical peek at our human origins. The San people (Bushmen) lived as hunter-gatherers in the same place since the beginning of human time--certainly since the Upper Paleolithic Period or longer. Their lives, though on the edge of survival, were a model of harmony, balance and clarity.Thomas, who wrote this as a young women, captures this now extinct culture with beauty and grace. One of the best books I've ever read--and re-read.Was this review helpful? Yes NoThank you for your feedback. Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged.
