Cole Masten. Abandoned by his superstar wife, Hollywood's Perfect Husband is now Hollywood's Sexiest Bachelor: partying hard and screwing even harder. Watch out Los Angeles, there's a new bad boy in town.

Summer Jenkins. That's me, a small town girl stuck in Quincy, Georgia. I cook some mean chicken and dumplins, can bluff a grown man out of his savings in poker, and was voted Most Friendly my senior year.

We were from different worlds. Our lives shouldn't have collided. But then Cole Masten read a book about my small town. And six months later, his jet landed on our dusty airstrip, and he brought Hollywood with him.

From the start, I knew he was trouble.
For our town. And for me.
Sometimes, opposites just aren't meant to attract.

Normally Hollywood bigwig meets commoner is not my cup of tea...but I love this author and placed my trust in her....and holy hell, I was not disappointed in the least! From chapter one throughout...loved the way the story unfolds in Torres signature style. I cannot wait for her next release...but this story will bring smiles to my soul for many days to come!!!

This is the first book I've read by this author and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a really sweet, heartwarming tale. I loved that although there's lots of angst and will they won't they throughout the book it was really easy reading. Cole Masten is Hollywood's hottest star, about to commence filming on his new film he's hit with some incredibly major personal problems. Summer Jenkins is just trying to blend in, earn enough money to leave Quincy and start a fresh, away from her past that just won't stay there. These two meet and the sparks fly immediately. They had really good chemistry, the few sex scenes where perfect, and I spent the whole book just wishing they could both see past their hang ups and realise how good they could be together. The chapters are short in this book so don't let the 112 chapters put you off, the POV changes frequently, it drove me a little crazy in the beginning but I soon got into the swing of it. The secondary characters are really fun, I loved their relationships with Ben and Justin, would of loved more time with all four of them together but the book ends really well and I always think if your left wanting more the authors done a good job!

Bought this the day it was released, but just started it yesterday and finished today. Could not put it down! I won't try and write a synopsis since others have already done so, but this book is very well written and is a must read. Sorry I didn't read it sooner. No cliffhanger and a HEA.

I have read this authors books before and enjoyed them. This wasn't one of them. With the 5 star reviews I thought i' d be in for a real treat, but once I began the book and continued, it just did nothing for me. I felt no connection to the caracters, thought the storyline was silly, and felt like there hatred towards one another went from hate to insta love in 3 seconds. I probly won't be reading much more from this author. Maybe it was just me, but it was not a good read, nor one that I would recommend. Sorry......

A great, fun read with characters you will love. She's strong, smart and sassy with a Southern drawl. He is droolworthy. And if you're a fan of Alessandra Torre (and you should be!), you'll love the Easter egg she's hidden.

It actually took me a little while to get into this book. The beginning had a bit of a boring start. But once it got good, I was sucked in. I just didn't want to put it down! Summer Jenkins is my favorite type of character. She has a mind of her own and she sticks up for what she believes in. She also has a smart mouth, who doesn't love that? She has a Southern Belle charm that anyone could fall in love with. At first, I didn't like Cole. He was arrogant. Arrogance is a way to make me not like a character. But of course, under all that is Cole Masten, there is a heart. A heart that has fallen for Summer and her smart mouth. As a couple, they really work out I think. They test each other, they fight each other. I feel like that's what makes a relationship healthy. I also think that's the main reason Cole and Nadia didn't work out. (I'm glad Nadia wasn't in the book all too much.) This book was well written and it is the first book I've read by Alessandra. I am in love with her writing! I can't wait to read more from her!!!

A book is being adapted to film about a book being adapted to film. Yep, you heard me right!! Hollywood Dirt is coming to the big screen! And if you haven't yet read it, it's about Hollywood storming into a small town as they film a biopic based on a nonfiction book about said small town. Confused yet? It's OK. Hollywood Dirt is well worth the read despite this terribly-written review. Let me try to get back on track now. Hollywood Dirt was literally a breath of fresh, non-polluted air. Alessandra Torre is a goddess. You can look on my goodreads shelf and see it right there: "the-torre-goddess" shelf. I just love her. In this standalone novel, she has created a stubborn, strong, country girl who is capable of showing such incredible vulnerability and resilience at the same time. I just loved her character. And the hero is an A-list movie star who is dealing with a hurt ego and even more hurt heart. He needs a break from the spotlight and hiding out in a small town is just what his doctor (or lawyer rather) ordered. Oh... attention Torre fans...the lawyer is none other than Brad freakin' DeLuca. Yep. So country bumpkin meets Hollywood and Hollywood falls for country bumpkin. I won't spoil the details but I will say that for once in your life you can read a romance that doesn't have a dramatic climax at the middle/end. Nope. It's just a drama-free romance. Well, let me backtrack. The drama is all in the beginning. Because when backyard water hoses and stargazing meet sparkling water preferences and bright lights, completely opposite worlds collide and angst, banter, and sun-sizzling tension results. Hollywood Dirt is a winner and I for one can hardly wait for the film. Check it out! My favorite quote: "Southern women are unique; there is no disputing that. We are women born of conflict, our pasts littered with battles and chaos, self-preservation, and protection. We’ve run plantations during wars, served Union soldiers tea before watching them burn our homes, hidden slaves from prosecution, and endured centuries of watching and learning from our men’s mistakes. It is not easy to survive life in the South. It is even more difficult to do it with a smile on your face. We have held these states together, held our dignity and graciousness, held our head high when it was smeared with blood and soot. We are strong. We are Southern. We have secrets and lives you will never imagine."

It took me a little while to read this book, but I had seen it around. I'm so glad I read it and I loved it. It had some good one liners, and I loved Cocky.. Overall great story.

When Cole, a Hollywood boy through and through gets thrown into the Deep South and meets Summer, a sassy mouthed Southern Belle...his world is turned on its axis. This is such an amazing, sexy, hot, and emotional enemies to lovers story! The chemistry just flies off the pages with these two. Wether it's lust, the unknown or pure hatred, this pair just can't seem to stay away from each other! Cole knows he can't let this one of a kind woman go, but can this unlikely couple survive small town gossip and...Hollywood and all that that entails? Read to find out!

Alessandra Torre has the ability to write books where you actually feel like you are a part of the story. That in itself, is the true talent of being an author. Not just reading the story, but actually becoming part of the story. It was no different with Hollywood Dirt. I felt like I was in Quincy. A part of a small town community full of gossip and judgment, a place where you feel safe. You can walk down the street and know every person, along with their entire life and family history. I’m from a small town, and Hollywood Dirt made me appreciate all of those things they have to offer. Alessandra definitely nailed that part on the head. Cole Masten is Hollywoods “IT” man. When his personal life takes a plummet, he leaves LA for Quincy where they will be filming his latest movie. Meeting Summer Jenkins takes him by surprise. She doesn’t have stars in her eyes. She’s feisty and doesn’t treat him like he’s entitled to anything. They infuriate each other at every turn, and I loved their face-offs! Want to know what happens when small town meets Hollywood fame?? Well, you’ll just have to read the story to find out! But I can tell you this… YOU. WILL. LOVE. EVERY. MINUTE. This unique story will captivate you from start to finish!

Sexy and light-hearted This is the first book of Torre that I have read. I heard that this is different from her other erotica books, and it is wonderful. I know I will definitely read more of her work, as I like authors who write uniquely and in various writing styles. Erotica without being pure sex-driven scenes. A very in depth and intimate story and it was just one of those stories that pull the reader into the scenes. It's full of intense I love you/hate you feelings and it makes you route for them even more. Did not disappoint.

It's one of those books that captures you from the beginning and you can't put it down because you become part of the story. Characters are written so well. Worst part is the end because you still want to read more!! Love. It.

This is one of those hard to right reviews. I really wanted to like this book. I was introduced to AT's writing last year when I read Black Lies, which I loved. But HD just seemed to fall flat and I really can't pin point why. I liked Summer and Cole, thought it had the potential for a unique plot but something just didn't click for me. I did like the flip that it was the male character that found his wife cheating and the male that was heartbroken. Summer was sarcastic as all get out and often found myself laughing to myself. I needed more of a connection between Summer and Cole. They barely have a decent conversation throughout the entire book. No more than a few clipped sentences.

I thought this was a very cute story! Loved the people amd how it was written. Only thing is that I wish that at the chapter it said who it was. In thebeginning of the storyi had to figure out whowas talking about half way threw I could tell. But I feel if it said chapter 1 and underneath that summer n then chapter 2 cole. I would deffinetly recomend this book!!

I've been in a reading funk lately, and couldn't find anything good. This book was so refreshing , it was hilarious and hot. More than impressed with the flow and the writing style; and with the author, herself.
