I read this book almost 30 years ago, borrowed it from a friend. I really love it, so I sought this particular title to see if I'd feel the same. It was not so steamy in today's standard. But part of the plot now I deemed as sexual harassment. The way Bick treated Tamara after they got married, you would wonder why Tamara held on and still love him in the end. Can a man can be that cold to his wife because he loves her???? My views seems to have changed after 30 years. I also didn't realize then how short it was.
It was a awesome book, enjoyed it so much. Wonderful Book
i loved the story and the characters, I just felt that the book was very rushed and a lot was cut out. It's a good, short read, I finished it in less than a day!
