    Great for Tweens!!! 10,11,12

    Great book to read at night with your growing tween daughters to laugh and discuss the day with life issues of our little girls, who have have questions but never speak up because of unable to break the ice with bringing up tween subjects with parents.

    Smarty Pants

    She thought she couldn't be friends with this one girl whom' she thought was a mean girl.
    I liked the book because it is like a comedy and I get sucked into the book because some of the events in the book have happened to me. One example is Jamie and Isabella gets into argument. That has happened to me occasionally. Also in the book Jamie gets a Diary assignment and she makes fake diary entries, because she was writing rude remarks about Angeline (the girl she didn't like). I had also had a Journaling assignment that I didn't tell the whole truth about.
    This book is kind of like the "Miss Popularity" and the "Dear Dumb Diary" books. About everyday events that can happen to anybody.
    The book ends perfectly and has a big surprise. It was very good and interesting. I would recommend this book to anybody that has a great sense of humor. I would just burst out laughing in the middle of a conversation. I hope anyone that reads this book likes it as much as I do.

    Love for Jim Benton's "Dear Dumb Diary" series

    Another great day for Jim Benton when his books are loved by kids everywhere. My favorite one,Dear Dumb Diary,is about a girl whose name is Jamie Kelly,and has a best friend and her name is isabella.There not extemly popular around school,yet there not the lamest ones around. There life totaly changed whaen they made friends with the new girl, Angeline.At first they're not so fond of her,espesially when she stole isabella's lip glam flavor forcing her to use deodorant, but Jamie kelly finds out that they were best friends in kindergarten. "I especially love Dear Dumb Diary books," I often say to my friends and family. "it's a great laugh sensation for when your feeling down, and up!" Jim's books are absolutly incredible.I have read his "utterly magnificent" boxed set (contains books, "never do Anything,Ever," "My Pants Are Haunted," and a fill-in diary,)and at my local 4S Ranch Branch library, I have 7 more of his Dear Dumb Diary boks on reserve.I can't wait until the day comes where I walk into the library and see my books right there on the shelf. If you havn't yet read one of his books, then you will be very pleased once you readhis Dear Dumb Diarys. I will always say that Jim's books are a great laugh for kids young,and old.
