Overview

How can she make him stop thinking of her as a freakn' sister?

Francine's loved Mitchell, a wolf like herself, since she first set eyes on him back when they were just kids. However, Mitchell's never seen her as more than another annoying sister. Determined to make him realize she's all grown up, she enlists the aide of Alejandro, a gorgeous cat shifter. She never counted on wanting them both.

Alejandro knows Francine is special from the first moment he meets the fiery plump wolf, which is why he suggests she use him to make Mitchell jealous. A great plan, especially if it means he gets to kiss those luscious lips. One taste, though, and he's addicted, but how does he make her see past the man she loves to realize she's also meant to be his mate?

For a long time now, Mitchell's been avoiding Francine, his bratty sister's friend. However, the little girl he remembers is all grown up, and when he sees her in the arms of another, a need to claim her overrides all his common sense. But, he's waited too long and fate has decided that he's going to have to share. Can he bend enough to accept Francine with her other man, or will his freakn' jealousy send him running?

Warning: Excessive amounts of heat may be generated when reading this story. Do not sit or stand near flammable objects unless they happen to be your partner. Please note, that while the heroes sustained injuries during the course of the story, Francine did eventually kiss them all better, naked of course. This is a ménage romance, with heavy emphasis on the romance. It does contain multi partner, sexual situations that some people may find titillating. Reader discretion is advised.

Review: Being best friends with his sister, Mitchell has thought of Francine like a sister for many years. Francine along with everyone else knows Mitchell is destined to be her mate. What they don't know is that she is destined to have 2 mates, the other being Alejandro. Once Alejandro enters the picture, things start to heat up and Mitchell starts looking at Francine differently. This book drew me in from the start. I was fortunate to have read the first installment in this series so it was nice to revisit old friends but this book stands well on its own. We have great character development with Francine as the sassy she-wolf heroine, Alejandro as the sexy cat and then we have Mitchell with a jealousy streak a mile wide. I must admit, I really wanted to reach through the pages of the book and smack him upside the head at his stupidity. In addition to the love triangle, there were a couple twists from each of the men's past that brought trouble to Francine. I was slightly disappointed over the resolution of the Jenny issue. It was not the main focus of the story by any means but it was wrapped up as a neat and tidy here is what happened afterthought. Overall this was an enjoyable read which I would definitely recommend giving a try.

Francine has know Mitchell is her mate since hitting puperty, which is when Mitchell started to dodge when even she came around to see her BFF and his sister Naomi. So while he's been escaping her before he even hit his eyes on her she's grown up and fate has planned her another mate. On her way to neomi's babyshower her car breakdown and she receives a ride from another guest Alejandro, but pulling into the driveway she faces Mitchell first time in five years and he attacks Alejandro. Seeing a chance to show Mitchell just what he's loosing she and Alejandro cook up a scheme, they'll pretend to date to make Mitchell jealous and see her in a new light. Of course it complicates matters that womanizing Alejandro is falling head over heels with the feisty redheaded, curvy Francine - sure that he's found his mate in her. So what is Francine to do with her choices when she realizes she wants both. Amazing, I'm in love with this series! Jealous and Freakn' started with a bang and kept the momentum going all the way to the end, which is just my kind of book! I like action, be it chases or sexual tension and flirting and this book, whoa boy there was so much sexual tension it was insane. Desire, need, want and not being able to get it, yummy! She wants him, he wants her, he avoids her, she makes him jealous, he falls in love... oh so yummy! Of course with two guys and one gal the sentence above can be hard to comprehend unless you read the book, to which you'll have a great chance to as there is a giveaway below the review! Now Francine was just my kind of heroine, a sassy smart mouth with attitude to spare. Refreshingly unique voice with a dirty sense of humor and flirty disposition. Loved her! Feisty little redhead. Alejandro was gorgeous, easy-going womanizing player with a new girl every night until he meets Francine, who turns out to be a tough cookie to break. Mitchell was so much fun to read, the man is in serious denial of his feelings, not to mention jealous, crumby and rude but you can't help but to end up liking him, even though he fights not to feel anything for Francine. And of course there is Naomi and her two mates Ethan and Javier, who were just a joy to read, of course now I'm itching to read their story too (book #1)! I just have to give this book 5 Stars, anything else would be a lie, I loved it! Paranormal romance doesn't get much better than this! And I think All Romance Books readers agree as Jealous and Freakn' is currently their topseller! This is for you if... you like your heroines sassy spitfires, your shifter men gorgeous and if you enjoy a book with some steamy seriously hot sexual tension! Not to mention some delicious sex scenes... ;)

I enjoyed the first in this series enough to get this book. I was pleasantly surprised to find I like it even better than the first! The book touches base with Naomi, Javier and Ethan the mates from the first book. This time the story is about Naomi's best friend and her brother. Francine and Mitchell have known each other forever, but his interest doesn't peak until Javier's brother Alejandro starts showering Francine with attention. Suspense is thrown in when someone starts shooting at shifters. Can't wait to read the next installment.

This is a cute story that is really funny and even more sexy. Just like in book one, we have two men fated to be with one woman. While this is extremely unrealistic to me, I still find this story a lot of fun. Unlike in book one, the men aren't as excepting about having to share the woman, or at least one of them isn't. We also have plenty of page time from our trio in book one, who are always a great time.

This is the second book in the freakn' shifter series. In this book you meet up with some previous characters from the first book. They are also believable in their storyline. Add a new character and you have a set up for trouble and conflict. It turns out well. With her usual humor and well thought plot twist and turns, I enjoyed this book. It's a fast read for supernatural fans.

I love this author. She seems to have a great sense of humor and you can see it in the stories she writes. Francine is a feisty red head who takes no crap from either of the guys she is falling for. Love the way the story starts out with her chasing down Mitchell at the age of 13, knowing he is her mate and wanting him to admit it. Love love this paranormal series and the sexual heat is an added bonus. Can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Oh, Francine I loved you so much. Your mouth, your foul language and off-colored jokes had me laughing and enjoying the dialog you shared with everyone. You were full of energy and I loved that you knew what you wanted and would do everything in your power get it. Alejandro - you were one sexy cat and I'd adopt you in a heartbeat. I loved your attitude and willingness to give the wolf you were falling for anything and everything she needed to be happy. But Mitchell, you naughty pup. Your jealousy was just a bit too much for me. It took you far too long to admit how you felt to yourself and even then you were a bit selfish and just didn't want to share. Shame on you for making her wait for so long and then making her feel bad because she loved you both.  As you can see, the characters are really what captivated me in Jealous and Freakn'. Francine was amazing - I want to see more of her. I can see why she would need two men to keep her occupied. I really loved Alejandro as well, but Mitchell - he just seemed like such a jerk! He was down right mean to Francine at times and his actions cause a lot of trouble. I almost wanted him to get let down and not end up with the girl.  In the long run, Eve fixed all her people up quite nicely and I was very happy with the ending - but getting there was a little more rough for me in this one. I just don't think I like the way jealousy looks on one of the main guys. We get to have a couple bad guys in this book that you just love to not like. And Eve dishes out some wonderful poetic justice to them in the end that I loved.
