The ten years since his new bride abandoned him on his wedding day had brought Connor MacLean, earl Strathclyde, nothing but misery and bitterness but that is nothing compared to the anger he feels when she shows up at his front gates on the 10th anniversary of that day. Determined to punish her for the humiliations she dealt him, he is shocked when his wife claims mistaken identity and insists that she is not his wife at all! Meet the Author

Angeline Fortin picked up her first romance novel in college and has never been able to put them down since. A life-long lover of history, she holds a BA degree in History from the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and has worked at Colonial Williamsburg as a historical interpreter. Blending her two favorite things, she began writing her own historical romances for the enjoyment of herself and her friends ten years ago.

Angeline is a native Minnesotan, a fan of the Vikings and the Twins. As a former military wife, she has lived in many places but currently resides in the southeast with her husband and two children and misses the cold weather.

    Great book!

    A Laird for All Time

    I hesitated at giving this 4 stars. I enjoy time travel plots and this story would rate with the best of them, except I found myself rereading and putting sentences together because it was so poorly edited and proofed. I purchased the ebook version which had no chapter headings and was filled with an abundance of typos. It's really a shame because I loved the story.

    Great Time Travel Romance - Must Read

    I loved this story which features a modern day doctor who visits a Scottish castle on a lonely vacation and ends up back in 1895 with the family members who started renovating the ruins at that time. She brings obstetrical knowledge to the local inhabitants and her presence encourages the healing of old wounds among the castle residents, one of whom is a very sexy Scottish Laird. She in turn finds romance and acceptance and has to make some hard choices about where she really belongs. I hope there will be a sequel. My only criticism is that I felt it ended too quickly.

    A different kind of romance - Great

    This was really a different type of book. I've read many, many romances, and this one was different. It was surprising when she suddenly was in a different time period. There were unexpected twists and the romance was exciting. I definitely would recommend this to anyone who likes romances. It works for historical romances as well.

    Sounds Familiar......Outlander by Diana Gabaldon??

    What a rip off of Gabaldon's novel. A female doctor gets hurled back in time on a trip to Scotland?? Then falls in love with a Scottish highlander. This gets an F for originality.

    Good book Book

    The book said its over 1100 pages but when u turn the pages the count skips 3 pages at a time, this book is a good read, there is a couple good twist at the end, the only thing that didnt set well, that emma was flipped about her coming from the future

    Loved this book, a must read!

    LOVED IT!!!

    Page Turner

    Couldn't put the book down. It was a great love story that had funny bits to it throughout. Parts were a bit predictable but was a great read and I will try to find other books by this author now.
