    Very emotional book!

Megan Charnell work as a candy striper in a hospital. At first Meg thought this could be a drag. Meg just lost her bestfriend recently and felt akward to be in a place full of injured people. But when she met Donovan Jacoby, she felt a rush of new emotion washed over her, and she began to like to be with Donovan. He shared with her a secret he didn't even tell his close mother. An anonymous benefactor gave him a check with his name and $100,000. He isn't rich so having such a big money would give him the opportunity to buy a new house for his mom. Donovan needed Meg's help to find a perfect house for his mom but unfortunately he running out of time. Waiting for a liver transplant to help him live. Meg felt a definite love for Donovan but too shy to tell him. Will Meg ever fullfill Donovan's wish? Will Meg ever tell Donovan her love for him before it's too late? And would Donovan ever get his liver transplant?

This book brought a tear to my eye. . .

This book, 'Let Him Live', by Lurlene McDaniel is a must read for children ages over 12. This tells and wonderful love story, like from an old movie, with a tragic ending that brings more hope than tragedy in the end. I really recomended this book to all who like to read.
