Overview

Young archaeologist Finn Ryan and charismatic pilot and photographer Virgil Hilts are scouring the Sahara for the long-lost tomb of an apostle. But they find something they weren’t looking for: signs of a decades-old murder, along with an ancient Roman medallion bearing the infamous name of a fallen archangel. It doesn’t take long for them to realize that they’ve found a piece of a much bigger puzzle—and a trail of clues that could get them killed.

Forced to flee from a relentless enemy, Finn and Virgil are pursued across the globe. From the sinister ruins of an ancient monastery to a sunken ship in the Caribbean, the two desperately search for a truth that can save their lives, but might shake the foundations of history...

Ok if you don't have another book to read and your stuck!

This book started out ok, and I quickly grew to like the characters. It was the lack of details that I started to notice, like how were these people able to travel all over the world without their wallets and purses stuff like that. Also, the interaction between the Male/Female heroes was lacking. No mention of any attraction or lack there of between the two and don't get me wrong I quickly tire of the need for most authors to have characters like these end up in the sack, but it was lacking something. The biggest problem with the book for me was the ending.... Really?

    Not worth the time

The first book with Finn Riley was just barely good enough that I decided to try a second book by this author. That was a mistake. This book is terrible. This author completely fails to produce any tension in his books. You have no doubt that the heros will win and the villians as terribly underdeveloped and not believable as they are, will fail. I found after reading 3/4's of the book that I had no interest in finishing it. If the heroes got killed...oh well. If the villians got killed...oh well. When that is all you can feel for a book, the author has utterly failed.

    A reviewer

I've enjoyed each of the three books in this series, and I would recommend them. Finn is a likeable main character and the plots are just as plausible as Dan Brown's.

    DaVinci Code Wannabee

This book is uneven, thin, and absolutely painful to read. There is no real plot, and more sophistication could be put on paper by a third grader. I believe that a Hardy Boy book would be more fulfilling than this rubbish. This is the last book I will read by this author.

    Uneven

Very uneven book. There is no flow, and no sparks. Not very impressed with it. Some nice action sence, but the core story wieghed it down.
