    Great Beginning

This book has a focus on databases. Shows the various areas offered by Visual Studio 2010. If you want to further understand the why these sample codes work. There are other books you will have to look into. But console and asp.net were presented very well. WPF and WCF require more looking into.

    Great VS 2010 Book!

This book is described as a Beginner's Guide to Visual Studio. It is that surely, but also much more. It's a great book. I've been trying to post my full review but have not been able to do it on this site because of some restrictions (probably size and characters, but I've given up trying to figure out exactly what's wrong with it). See A m a z o n . c o m .
