David Morrell is the author who brought us Rambo, and in this book, our hero is the thinking man's Rambo. It's one nearly fatal surprise after another, and the book ends with the reader wanting more ... much more. Enjoy ... or else!

Lots of twists and turns through the first three quarters of the book but goes melodramatic at the end in a way that makes no logical sense. It's a story of a pro-active villian dealing with a reactive hero so you know who sets the agenda for the action in the novel.Jsut a so-so read.
