Gr 10 Up-This sequel to Summer Boys (Scholastic, 2004) stands on its own. The Tuttle girls are getting ready for another summer at the family's beach cottage. Beth, though excited about spending time with her cousins, is depressed over leaving her boyfriend, George. Sisters Ella and Kelsi have mixed feelings about the upcoming summer as well. Kelsi had a horrific breakup the previous year and wants a boy-free vacation so she can hang out with the girls and have fun. Ella, the party animal, is tired of all the hook ups. All she wants is a committed relationship with a nice guy. Unfortunately, this summer turns out to be filled with more drama than any of the teens could have realized: Beth is hanging out far too much with a George-look-alike lifeguard; Kelsi keeps running into frat boy Tim, who is totally not her type, and Ella has found the perfect boy, but can't seem to attract him-a first for her! The teens are believable characters and their experiences will have readers laughing and crying along with them. There are episodes of drinking, serious making out, and discussions about sexual encounters, but there are no graphic scenes.     GREAT BOOK

    Hi, im 14 I love going to the book store and looking for books and had looked at this series before but just passed over it. I saw my friend reading the third book in series (After Summer) and thought i'd give it a try. I read the first book (Summer Boys) and loved it. I was so excited to read this book. I loved this book just as much as the first one. I also could not put this book down and read the whole thing in one sitting.

    PS u might think i'm exaggerating when i put all 5 start for everything but i'm NOT!! This is a GREAT book.

    The Best Book Ever!!!!

    I just got this book today and i just cant put it down and because im 14 i can relate to some parts of the story. Its just so great to read. I think its a great book and i would recommend it to anyone. Hope you like it too.

    Very enjoyable

    I have to say that I love the dynamics of the three Tuttle girls and the setting could not be more amazing. I love reading summer romances because they are all set on the coast and you have the sand and boys and so great to get lost in. I don't regret getting this at all, in fact I want to get the others in the series, Hailey Abbott is a great writer and the dialog and situations really feel realistic.

    Loved this book!

    I loved this book so much. Its a book you cant put down i have finished the first 2 books in 2 days! I just love summer romance books! And hailey abbott does an amazing job writing them! This is a must read for other teenage girls(:

    The whole thing in this book is everyone messes up and everyone deserved to be punished but I didn't feel like any of these Tuttle girls were punished. Sure, they cried and were punks to each other but I didn't feel that any of them were truly remorseful enough to get the easy make ups that they got.

    After I finished the book, I shook my head. I don't think I'll be finishing this series because well, I don't like these Tuttle girls. They're immature little girls that play with boys feelings and in the end, get away with everything. Not my kind of folks. I can't exactly say I hated this book but I didn't love it either. And yes, I know that they're teenagers but still, no my kind of folks. So I'm giving it a 3.

    Unforgetablly Awesome

    This book was so amazing I've only read this one in the series but it was just wonderful. I was hooked within the first chapter. The chaacters have substance and are very realistic. Definately dynamic!!! I LOVED it!!!

    Loved it!!

    I loved the whole series I read all the books in three days I just couldn't put them down. I love her writing stylee and how it keeps you interested the whole time and in the end it keeps you coming back for more

    my favorite book of all time

    I read summer boys when i came accross it in the library. It had been like 2 monthes when a girl in my math class was reading this book , i went out that afternoon to buy it and i finished it that night and then read it agian. it was soooooooooo good i cant wait for more!!!!

    better than the first one!

    wow, this book was so amazing. i dont even know what to say about it. all the twists that happen keep you hooked. during this book, you get to know most of the characters form the first book even better, and get to meet even more characters and their corky personalities.
