"No Dress Required" starts out funny and a bit snarky, turns sexy in a hurry, and ends up being sweet and romantic. There's never much doubt that Nellie will get her man in the end, but it's still fun to watch it happen. The writing's flawless, the characters are real and endearing, and the sex is hot. What more could you ask for?

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!
The friends to lovers trope is always good for me. And this one adds in friend's brother! BONUS. This was a quick romp through past mistakes, present mishaps, and the oh so beautiful possibilities of the future.
Nellie and Jake have been circling each other for ages, both too afraid to face the idea of getting together. Jake's a little shaky thanks to a surprise break up with his longtime girlfriend a few months before and Nellie is fed up with waiting for her shot with the man she's loved longer than she can remember. Add in a car-jacking, fuzzy bunnies, and a snow storm and you get a ton of fun before the ball drops.
With a little convincing and a whole lot of creativity they find their way to a happily ever after that leaves you smiling and wishing your New Year's Eve ended the same way.
Did I mention I loved it?
If not...LOVE, LOVE, LOVE!

Cari Quinn executes a perfect love story in one magical New Year's night. I love that the hero and heroine have a past together that both keeps them apart and draws them together. This is a perfect read for anyone who wants their socks knocked off in something they can knock out in a short period of time. I'll be collecting Ms. Quinn's backlist for sure.

Report this reviewThank you, this review has been flagged. No Dress Required is the latest novel from author Cari Quinn, and a preview from Entangled Publishing of their new line, Flirt. This novella is a spicy read, and a fun one. Noelle is a quirky character who, despite any personal self-doubt, has decided to finally make a play for the man of her dreams. Unfortunately for her, the fates seem to be against her as her intended evening does not go as planned. Jake is the perfect leading man for the story, embodying everything a romance hero should be,... hot, sexy, funny, and willing! Mixed in with the steaminess are two lovable characters, a good plot, and unexpected humor. Definitely a fun read!

This is a cheesy mix of Twililight meets Harry Potter. I wish I could get my dollar spent and the time I wastes reading this crap.

Now that Jake’s back in town, she’s headed to his sister’s New Year’s Eve party to make her move. Purse full of condoms? Check. Sparkly dress guaranteed to show Jake the sexy woman she’s become? Check.Carjacker that makes off with both two hours before the party? Check.
