Overview

Historical Romance Novel from New York Times Bestselling Author Susan Sizemore

Heiress to a Ducal fortune, tall, svelte, nearsighted, red haired and freckled Honoria Pyne knows none of the Ton will ever love her for anything but her inheritance. But she doesn't lack for greedy suitors.

Among the current Season's crop are two men from her past. One the Naval Officer who once dumped her. The other, James Marbury, who once bought her at a slave auction.

Honoria's past is complicated. It is full of adventure, harems, escapes and a scandalous affair with James. She puts no trust in his offer of marriage now, but his courtship reignites all the passion of a past she'd rather forget.

Original title ON A LONG AGO NIGHT

Of course I give the book five stars, I wrote it - you have to love all your children equally and they are all perfect in a parent - uh, author's - sight. But the real reason I'm posting this is to make sure readers are aware that the book was originally published by Avon under the title ON A LONG AGO NIGHT. Don't want you to purchase a second copy of a book you already own - unless you really want to. I changed the title back to the original title I gave the book NO PROMISES, because I like it ever so much better.

    A less-than-fine mess

Honoria and James are both unappealing characters. Do not wasre your money.
