    Great book from a non-reader

    I am not a person who usually sits down and reads a book, but I read a piece of the book in a magazine and decided to give it a try. It isn't a fast moving story, but as you get into the book you find that you just keep reading and reading. Before you realize it the book is over. It has a little bit of everything in it that makes for a good story and the things it needs to keep you into the book.

    A new star on the romantic suspense galaxy

    Because she won¿t accept a grant from the military, her college is going to dismiss her as they have no money to fund her offbeat subject. Noelle Blanche is the most brilliant cryptologist in the United States but she knows if she accepts the grant, the military could use her research as a weapon. When she leaves for home, she is attacked by terrorists from Swarm who want to kidnap her for her ability to decipher code so she can find the location where some nuclear warheads are.-------------------- David Wolfe, a former Delta Force operative, is brought back in from the cold to protect Noelle and bring her to a safe place. He also wants to hunt down the Swarm members because they tortured and killed his wife two years ago. When they get to a safe house, an attack occurs which proves there is a mole in the organization. David and Noelle go on the run until they reach another safe place where she can work on breaking the code. During their stay in the cabin, their feelings for each other grow but David doesn¿t feel he is worthy of a second chance at love and there is a Swarm member lurking nearby waiting to snatch Noelle.--------------- Shannon K Butcher is a new star on the romantic suspense galaxy as this work is comparable to such greats as Kay Hooper, Dee Henderson and Taylor Smith. She also has a unique voice with an uncanny ability to create characters that are interesting and refreshingly different.     Some regrets!

    I enjoy sex and it can certainly add to a story but this was a little much. The plot was fine but the gratuitous sex was excessive.

    I decided against reading other of this author's titles.

    Delta Force Men...A Force to fall in LOVE with..!

    My first time reading Ms. Butcher...I'm sorry I waiting so long.
    Her stories flowed wonderfully..exciting, endearing and passionate are the words I was use to describe her style..I laughed at the clever banter between the hero's & damsel's ( very strong damsels I may add)..which is evident in the the 3 books series.
    This modern and fresh series will steal your heart.

    David & Noelle (book 1), Caleb & Lana (book 2) and Grant & Isabelle (book 3) are beyond Hot..there soul-mated.

    No Regrets

    This is a great book. It is a romance, suspense read.
    David is a special agent assigned to protect Noelle. David has recently lost his wife to a brutal attack by a enemy who is now coming after Noelle. Noelle is able to break codes and the government is using her to break a code before a Russian radical group does. In the process David moves Noelle to a mt. getaway. There is where the romance sparks and ignites them.
    Noelle is able to crack the codes just before she is taken by the enemy. David along with two of his best men from his team travel to Russia to try and rescue Noelle from the same fate Mary (david's first wife) suffered.
    The books is thrilling, full of suspense and romantic.

    It'll literally take your breath away

    This book was hard to put down the first couple of chapters I read. It let my mind go to places i didn't know existed... in a good way though. I highly recommend this novel to anyone who enjoys romance with a mix of action. After I read this book, all I could think of was 'Noelle is one lucky girl.' I can't wait to read No Control!

    Fresh and Captivating!!!

    I am an avid reader so I have become bored with some of the story lines. HOwever, I loved this book and have looked forward to her second book that is now out as well. I am in the process of ordering her second book. This author is amazing she seems to be able to hit all the points of a good story. Strong alpha male that has a soft side. While the women is strong willed and also has a vulnerbility to her. I LOVED this book!!

    Great Read...

    This is a well written, well told, romantic suspense. I was so glad that I had the time to read this from cover to cover without stopping. It would have been hell to put down. Every sentence was pertinent...I couldn't revert to my normal habit of skimming to get to the 'good' parts. I loved David and Noelle. Excellent first novel. I'm looking forward to Caleb's and Grant's stories.

    I only regret believing the reviews, save your money.

    A been-there, done-that sort-of-book. I lost count of how many times the author used the words: he wanted to and she wanted to. Boring all the way through, especially the end.

    Couldn't put it down

    I don't normaly read just anyone but, this author was recommended to me. Even though I found this book in the romance section (a section I usually avoid with a passion) I decided to read it anyway. Boy was I ever Surprised! This book has renewed my faith in romance authors. I have NO REGRETS I ventured out of my comfort zone and read this book.
