Overview

All work and no play? Not for this girl. Not anymore.

Melissa Sparks has had enough. Enough of being an overachiever, enough of having no social life, enough of being lonely. Just this once she wants a change. Something different. Something that looks very much like her business associate, Ben Cowley.

Ben is all alone in the deserted offices of Preston Elks. He’s gorgeous, he’s single and he’s been her secret fantasy for the last two years. It’s a split-second decision, but there’s no going back.

When Ben looks up from his desk, the last thing he expects to see is his too-serious, straight-laced colleague stripping naked. It’s been a year since his last relationship ended, and though he’s still picking up the pieces, Melissa throws his carefully balanced world off its axis. So does her offer: a brief affair, no strings attached.

Right about the time he realizes a simple affair will never be enough, she’s back in professional mode—and clearly as distant as ever. Now it’s up to him to show her that what they have is no fluke…and he’ll do whatever it takes to convince her. Even if it means inviting another man into their bed.

Warning: This book contains a man haunted by his past decisions, a woman determined to succeed, sex hot enough to steam up every office window on the block, and a voyeur who gets off watching those windows steam up.

Jess Dee writing style is superb. The emotions shined through, and excellent char. development. Highly recommend and will read more by this author. Just under 400 pgs.

Highly recommended, but then you will want to read four other books that have tied with these characters. Exotic island is the first. It's written by Jess dee along with three other authors. Then each one takes a character and expands in another book. Those book are not for the weak hearted though!

This is a written porno. Graphic, yet still sexy. Who wouldn't want a hot office romance? Yes, it's a little cheesey. Yes, the language was blunt and to the point. Yes, it is not going to be for everyone. I was looking to continue a 50 Shades type read. Did I find it? Absolutely. This is not something for prudes or virgins or lovey-dovey types. It is raw and sexual. Not for the faint of mind.

WOW...HOT, STEAMY, SEXY READ!! Was not sure about it but it was full of all things steamy dreams are made of. The only reason not 5 stars some of the storyline seemed choppy n should of flowed easier. But the story was worth telling!!!!!!

## Wow. This was one hot read. The sex scenes were incredible. But suffice it to say, there was actually a story as well. The hero and heroine were great together. She was smart, sexy and cool. And the hero was oh so very hot! The one thing that i did not like, was the mention of the ex-fiancee Sienna over and over and over. It really took away from the special connection the two leads had (hence 4 stars instead of 5). Hope I never hear that name again.

It was fairly good. I wouldn't say great. Don't get me wrong, I like the hot scenes but I feel like it was a series of sexual encounters broken up by a short paragraph about what happened in the middle of their meetings. Wasn't overly impressed!

Buy this book if you like lots of sexual action and a voyuear to boot. It was a bit too graphic for my tastes.

I really didn't care for this book! I didn't find it sexy at all! I really don't want to finish reading.....but I spent the money!

This book was not overly well written, nor was it all that intriguing.

From a romance novel perspective, this story has all the classic segments - desire, coupling then the typical mis- or lack of communication among the characters...unspoken wants, past pain that interferes, plus the multiple past girlfriend (partner) references. Then throw in some blush worthy erotic segments. This was ok, not really the type of book that I normally would be drawn to but thought I would try it. A little too graphic for me too.

I loved every single minute of reading this book. The sex scenes were hot and put 50 shades of grey to shame. I will definitely continue to read her books.

Office Affair is the story of Ben Crowley an investment banker that has been hurt by love. He takes out that hurt by having mindless sex with nameless females. Melissa Sparks his colleague seems to have it all. She’s one of the best in her field; she’s smart and beautiful but has a tainted past that pushes her towards ensuring that she “makes something of herself” in the business world. Her only goal now is to make partner at the same firm that Ben works for. However, when she notices Ben slipping on his work and drive, she does the one thing that she’s wanted to do since she met Ben years before, she seduces him. Imagine being a male, hard at work when a buttoned up woman enters your office and verbally chastises you while slowly disrobing one piece of clothing at a time. That’s exactly what high powered business executive Melissa did to a drooling, confused Ben. Didn’t take long though for Ben to accept the bait and seal his fate. Turned out Melissa was scorching hot under those cool suits and he was determined to have her for more than what she was proposing…sexual relief. What hooked me in this novel and Jess Dee’s style of writing is not her ability to write wickedly erotic love scenes that leave you sexually charged and ready for some intimate time with your mate, though she’s incredibly good at that. It’s the intensity of the characters thoughts and feelings. Her ability to bring a character to life through their internal debates and volleying dialogue impress me to no end. Office Affair was also a special read because of its plot and overarching theme. Even though I’d prefer to write, read and drink scrumptious wine all day, I have a day job where suits are the norm and working long hours is necessity. So many readers out there can relate to a secret little fantasy of lusting after a coworker, having a naked tryst on top of a desk with the potential for someone in the building next door to catch a glimpse of the act or perhaps the entire shebang. Getting hot in here? Do you need to take off all your clothes? Yup, that’s exactly what Ben and Melissa do in this tale and rather often. This is not your Mama’s Fabio induced romance novel. It’s erotic. It’s deep. It’s intense and very graphic. The author delves into the sex scenes like I delve into a pint of Ben and Jerry’s Cherry Garcia. No holding back. There’s even a portion of the book where Ben grants Melissa her fantasy of two men at the same time. My first experience reading a ménage but the author not only made it one of the most stimulating things I’ve ever read, but somehow still was still able to ensure the book was about the love of one man and one woman. In closing, if you’re looking for a story that burns the pages as you read it or fogs the glass of your ereader, this is the one for you.

As posted on The Smutty Kitty reviewed by SexxKitten 5 out of 5 Licks Well, I don't really know where to start! Perhaps I should start with listing the things that I didn't like about this book but that would be difficult because I LOVE LOVE LOVED this book! If I could give it more than 5 licks I would. The attraction between Ben and Melissa was immediate and explosive. Melissa had secretly lusted after Ben for some time and finally reached a point of no return. The sex scenes are gloriously explicit and got my heart rate going faster than if I had just been for a run! I had to keep re reading them they were so delicious. But it's not just the sex scenes that put this book into the 5 licks category (did I mention that they were HOT!!!) the growing relationship between the two lovers was complicated by various things that had happened in both their lives and the interaction between them while they were trying to sort things out was very well handled by the author. The addition of another man, Will , (I would LOVE to read a story based around this guy!) really ratcheted up the tension and the sex. Ménage anyone?!!! Can you really bring another person into an already tricky relationship and expect it to be unaffected? Will Ben and Melissa get their HEA? You will have to read it and find out for yourselves! Jess Dee is now one of my most favorite authors and I can't wait to read the rest of her books!
