Oscar is an elephant who does everything he can to fit in, but it doesn't work. In the end he realizes he needs to be himself.

"The importance of being ones self" is a common theme, but this book's view of the subject was both adorable and hilarious. Often books forget that the way to a child's heart is through their funny bone. John Odziemek did not neglect it!
