Overview

Although this book is part of a series, it can be read as a stand alone novel. From New York Times and USA Today Bestselling Author, Cali MacKay...

Marshall should be riding high as the CEO of his own successful company. Instead, he's in the middle of a nasty divorce as he tries to rid himself of his cheating and lying wife, while trying to track down a mole in his company. What he needs is a distraction, so when Harper Jones walks into his office with improvements she'd like to make to one of their products, Marshall knows that the brilliant and gorgeous engineer is exactly what he needs to take his mind off his problems.

Harper's heard the gossip about her boss, and the last thing she wants is to get sucked into the middle of a nasty divorce-especially when rumor has it that Marshall's ex may be carrying his baby. When Marshall sets her in his sights, Harper finds him far too difficult to resist, with his charming good looks and sexy smarts, but with her heart and career on the line, and a mole pointing the finger in her direction, will she risk it all to find happiness or simply walk away?

## Meh....just OK. The first half of the book was boring. Way too much page time dedicated to describing sex toys. I'm talking page after page of useless information. I did however like the 2nd half of the book. If I were to read again, I'd have to skip a lot of the beginning. Also, it was bizarre that the hero starts off as a surgeon, but then decides to sell sex toys and quit being a doctor altogether. I definitely liked the groveling at the end though....3 stars was all I could manage.

Terrific plot, characters and info on "viberators" I didn't need to know. The trials and traumas of the characters was an enjoyable adventure along with the steamy scenes.

Both characters were very much surface characters only. They used the "f" word WAY too many times. I just didn't see this as a believable story. Sorry. Best of luck to you on future books! Try to bring some realisim into them. Help us to KNOW your characters.

Worth a read. Im interested in reading further about some of the other other characters in this book. A little short for my liking and predictable but very hot and steamy.

Forced myself to read to chapter 11 thinking it would get better but it hadn't so I didn't continue. Even if you suspend your belief in reality, which is fine, there is some great fantasy writing after all, there were many typos that distracted me from the story. The characters were weak and totally unrealistic. I don't mind fantasy but this was just too far from reality for me.

131 pages not bad of read for free , but these authors are writing books short with less pages so you can buy the 2nd book with just as short pages

Cali MacKay has done it again with Marshal and Harper's story. Marshal really is a jerk in his persuit of Harper as a diversion from his nasty pending divorce and trying to find a mole in his company. Can Harper forgive him? I won't give away the story, but this is a must read in The Billionaire's Highly recomend for anyone over 18. Now waiting for Keane's story.
